I generally have low expectations for people working in the real estate business, but Dan was an exception in that he was super friendly, helpful, and responsive. My girlfriend and I were looking for a one bedroom, and were able to find a great place even sooner than anticipated with Dan’s help. He communicated with us proactively, and was willing and able to meet us in convenient locations at slightly inconvenient times. I hope I won’t be moving again anytime too soon, but if so, I would definitely reach back out to Dan for help.

Dan did an excellent job helping my girlfriend and I find the exact apartment we were looking for in an efficient and professional manner. When starting the process it became apparent how difficult finding an apartment in NYC is without using a broker and it quickly occurred to us how unhelpful most brokers can be in this business. Luckily for us, we were referred to Dan by a friend and the whole experience was an extremely positive one from start to finish.
We gave him the exact parameters that we were looking for (location, price, size, amenities, etc.) and patiently showed us a plethora of apartments that fit the mold. During the whole process he made himself readily available to show apartments and answer any questions. We found the apartment we wanted over the course of two days, and had the lease signed for a fantastic apartment later that week.
In short, Dan helped us find the home we want to live in, not the apartment he needed to sell. I highly recommend his services.

With NYC’s whackadoo real estate market getting more and more whackadoo with every passing year (heck, MONTH), I basically expected the worst when it came to apartment hunting. Like, full-​on I’m-going-to-live-in-an-overpriced-box fear, loathing, and anxiety.
Lucky for me and my boyfriend, who were looking for a one-​bedroom in Queens, we basically got lucky and plucked Dan out from the real estate masses during a routine search on Street Easy. Related: THANK YOU, STREET EASY.
After getting meh to blah responses from a bunch of other brokers, working with Dan was a breath of fresh air. He was communicative, punctual, encouraging, fair, and every other positive adjective you could attribute to a broker.
Not only was he very clear about everything my boyfriend and I would need to get the Sunnyside apartment we were after, but he followed up exactly when he said he would and kept the process speedily moving along. No B.S. No (well, less) anxiety.
I would and will recommend Dan to anyone looking for a place!

Full disclosure, I didn’t have to pay Dan’s fee (lease break tenants picked that up) and he was only showing (didn’t help me find) the apartment I ultimately rented from him, but he was awesome enough in our short time working together that I wanted to give some support.
I especially wanted to mention his excellent communication — I rented from a co-​op building which was a more intensive application process and he was completely on top of the procedure and paperwork needed and got me approved very quickly, considering the extra steps. Great experience.

For someone that doesn’t know much about NYC, Dan made the process of finding a place virtually painless. I have to admit my family and I were dreading my apartment search in the big city. I luckily stumbled upon Dan and he went above and beyond any of our expectations. Besides not knowing much about the city, I own an XL dog and needed a place that would accept the dog and accommodate her needs. Dan did his homework and on our first day visiting he had 8 places already lined up within my budget that would take dogs. I ended up finding a place on my first day that I couldn’t be happier with. Moreover, Dan gave me all sorts of other tips and suggestions about living in the city that has made my transition even easier. He followed up with the leasing agency and made sure my application and lease agreement were in good standing and even checked in to make sure they fixed things they said they would honor. He was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone else seeking out a new home in the city.

Dan got me «my home» on the upper east side. He is so nice and friendly and he answered all my questions very patiently. He made sure I got the best deal and he even sent me a list of things to do and places to go around my neighborhood. Dan is a great guy and definitely know his stuff. RECOMMENDED!

I have nothing but high praise for Dan. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and right away, I felt like I was working with a friend, as opposed to the typical brokers I’ve unfortunately dealt with before. He’s very personable and was able to figure out what I wanted. He stuck with me throughout the entire process, making sure I was 100% comfortable.
What else can I say about Dan? Really knowledgeable in regards to the UES, and over delivers and communicates. I couldn’t have asked for a better broker! I met with Dan a few days after I arrived to NY since I was eagerly trying to find a place to settle down in. Dan was referred to me by another agent at Keller Williams since he knows the UES area really well. While I didn’t actually get an apartment from Dan simply because I liked Brooklyn better, Dan did a GREAT job of showing me around very nice apartments in the UES. He listened to what I liked and didn’t pressure me to get a place. He definitely knows the area well and was kind enough to walk me to the bank 30 blocks away and then guide me back to the subway to head to work! Dan’s a great agent and honest — I would definitely use him if I wanted to be in the UES.
