Planning a wedding across country has come with its challenges, especially choosing a photographer. After scouring the web and talking to several photography studios, I was fortunate enough to find Kim at Craig Paulson Studio. She spent time telling me exactly how she would conduct and organize photography for my wedding day. Her confidence and passion were reassuring and refreshing, after speaking to several other vendors. I could tell instantly Kim was top notch– a true professional and talent! She made all my worries subside and made me excited about planning the photography with her across country! Recently my fiancé and I had our engagement shoot with Kim and Caleb. All I can say is WOW. People look at the photos and say they should be in magazines or that they must be out of a movie. All my fiancé and I had to do though was show up! Kim had a vision for the entire shoot– poses, locations, lighting, cameras, sunlight, etc. the shoot was effortless for my fiancé and I and the pictures are a work of art. I am in awe! Everyone tells me they are the best engagement photos they’ve seen– and I agree. Kim and Caleb worked their magic and I cannot wait to have them do the same on my Wedding day. If you have the chance– book them. You will NOT be disappointed. They will exceed any and all expectations possible!

Craig Paulson’s Courtney and Kim did an amazing job photographing our nyc wedding. They were professional yet so fun and down to earth. They took us all over the city for our couple pictures so we have a bunch of awesome shots at all different iconic locations. We were blown away with the photos. They captured so many beautiful ceremony moments as well as the lively moves from the dance floor. Would highly recommend this team!

I used Courtney and her assistant Michael. They were amazing, even a few, minutes early to our houses. They made sure we got all the photos we needed and still were shooting all the candids and detail shots I loved on their portfolio sites.
Only issue and this was on me more than them was the timing was running late on events in reception and still had to cut the cake. They didjdjd did ask if we wanted to stop right then and take pics and they would leave or pay overtime. Husband chose overtime but forgot to ask how much. So advice is if your in budget you should just plan a little better than we did, and just take pic in timeframe.
But as for Courtney and Michael, I can’t imagine better photographers and highly recommend.

I worked with Courtney Dudley at Craig Paulson and my husband and I loved her! Not only does she take fantastic photos, she really captured the energy of the wedding. My husband and I decided not to have a videographer which, after the wedding, wish we had done, however after seeing the photos from Courtney, we no longer wished we had the video! Courtney is great to work with, very easy going, and she is like a little ninja running around the party, no one saw her but she saw everything! Even when she saw guests taking photos of themselves she would run up to them and tell them she would take it. She almost anticipated when the photo opps came up. Craig Paulson Photography is a very professional group and all of those I dealt with were very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend Courtney and the Craig Paulson group.

We used Craig Paulson photography for our wedding in October and the pics came out awesome! Jordan and Courtney, our photographers were so professional, creative and discreet while capturing our special moments. Everyone loved our pictures and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I first saw Craig’s work when my friend got married three years ago. At that time, I was incredibly impressed with his photojournalistic style.
As we started to work together for my own wedding, Craig offered great ideas for the photography for my wedding — how many formal shots to plan, props to bring with us on the day of, off-​site locations, etc. His suggestions were helpful and across all accounts he was 100% right.
On the day of my event, my friends and family fell in love with my photographers — Craig, Tanya, and Nathan. They didn’t stop raving about how fun, respectful, and professional they were. Usually taking photographs are a necessary evil to our family events, but my husband, family, and I had so much fun with Craig and his team.
I can’t wait to see them again in the next few weeks to see how the photographs turned out but based on my experience thus far, I know I am going to be blown away.
People say you should make sure you like your wedding photographer’s personality because you will spend more time with them than anyone else on the day of your wedding. Not only were Craig and his team AWESOME to hang out with, they are infinitely talented. I am really grateful to have been able to work with them.
