My visit was amazing! The host was accurate with the 15-​min estimated wait time. The restrooms were clean. The atmosphere was upbeat. But, hands down, the best parts were the waitress and the food, especially considering how crowded it was in the restaurant. Jae, a Queen Diva who was comfortable in her own skin, was the absolute B-​E-​S-​T! She recommended excellent food items (e.g. plain wings, lobster ravioli, and the Pangasius filet of fish with shrimp). The food was timely, hot, flavorful, and beyond delicious! And to top it off, Jae’s bubbly personality and stellar service won us over. The next time we’re in NYC, we’re definitely coming back to this spot. I give it FIVE STARS!!! Jae deserves a promotion because in my opinion good service is hard to find… and her service was top-​notch!

Will the bartender was horrible please look out for him please, I’m a owner of a business and his customer service was the worst

Corner social had great late night bites. And it was fun. But the shrimp and grits for brunch was ok. Too much sauce. Being a Louisiana girl we are used to more shrimp and a cheesy or barbecue based sauce.

Vibrant, decent bar/​pub in central Harlem. I’m never really a fan of a place when they blast their music seemingly unnecessarily. So maybe fix that? But aside from that, it’s your standard-​above average New American bar.
I was a fan of their happy hour drink specials (until 8pm!). Also, their nachos were huge and delicious and their «Corner Social» salad was surprisingly tasty too. Good spot to stop by when you’re in the neighborhood (plus it’s close to the downtown 1−2−3 trains)

No loud music, not even 15 people, yet I had to wait at the door for a while to be seated. They say I could sit «anywhere». But, they ended up not allow me to sit in 3 places which I picked. I was just by myself. It was 13:33 pm.
I am having lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The space is big and with a cool look. The menu is limited, the service is just soso. I had to change my wine glasses because it was dirty.
Ordered mushroom and cheese sandwich, it is not bad. The bill is $ 26
It would make me happy if the waiter and the bar tender would smile a bit.

Went here last weekend for a friend’s birthday party. Even though the place is small and a little crowded, it has a great atmosphere. The servers were very funny and helpful, even though it took a while to get our check. Will definitely come here again.

Been here a bunch of times. Usually only because it’s in front of the train and it’s easy for me and my friends to meet there. Food used to be good and it still is but their menu has been reduced so your options are limited and my food always arrives cold with a hot plate. Lol kinda backwards? Nachos were ok. Empenadas were meh, fries were cold. Cool place to grab a drink that’s really it.

Service is great! The manager Camille is AMAZING; feel free to voice concerns and recieve a solution that make you happy. Uptown Baby is a great drink is you like strawberry and sweet. Food comes very quickly! The turkey burger is juicey and delicious; seasoned well. The fries are also great! Argentinean empanadas are great with the arugula salad. The crab cake is also very fresh. Our waiter Angel was great very attentive and alway on point. Prices are kind of expensive but the service and quality of the make the difference.

I like this place cause its open super late, I usually come here after Red Rooster, the wings are the best so are both the sweet potato fries and the herb fries, make sure you check your receipt cause the waitress I had last time tried to add a 20 percent gratuity to my check unrightfully and her attitude and service wasn’t deserving of it thats why I’m giving 3 stars.

I try to stay open-​minded when I hit dives in New York but I just wasn’t impressed with this one. It felt like they are over-​utilizing too little space. There were maybe 100 people there, but if felt like 1000. There are lots of tables but no where to really move or dance even though people try. The DJ was playing hardcore hip-​hop laced rap music. Deafeningly loud. I simplified my drink order because the bartender couldn’t hear me. The bartenders were ok, but it took a long time.
There is really nothing spectacular about the venue. For my Texas folks, it reminded me of Mash’d or Scruffy Duffies (with bad music). Overall I was not impressed.
Please keep in mind that my review is only regarding the experience that i had one night. I don’t know what goes on during normal business hours. It looks like it could be a nice pub or tavern, which is how it is set up.

Cute dinner spot. Great drinks. So so food. My friend and I grabbed dinner and cocktails at Corner Social a few weeks ago. I loved the drinks. And ordered the catfish poboy. The fries that came with it were good, but the fish was unseasoned and tasted like it was taken directly from the freezer and dropped into the fryer. I definitely wouldn’t order that again, or suggest it, but my friend really enjoyed his burger. So I’ll likely get a burger on a future visit.

Delicious version of the grilled cheese. On a Thursday night with the jets on a big projector. A nice cold beer to complement the meal. Cheers.

THE CORNER SOCIAL IS MY FAVORITE BAR IN HARLEM !!! I have been coming here since they opened and this place keeps getting better! If anyone is staying in Harlem or planning to move to Harlem make CS your place to stop and have a beer, grab food or party! The food is amazing and the service is spectacular. Every time I go in I’m greeted with smiles and I’m always happier when I leave. Also every Thursday — Saturday there is a DJ in the evenings which makes for a great atmosphere. Also their bathrooms are very clean and they have hooks under the bar so you can hang bags and purses which is a huge plus for me !!!

The Managers are very proactive and make sure their guests are enjoying their experience.
The servers are wonderfully, I haven’t met all of them but Eileen, Angel, Jemilla, and D are exceptional !!! their costumer service is beyond perfect and they all make each guest feel special and important!

The soup and Sammy is amazing, one of the best grilled cheese and tomato soup I have ever had!
The tostadas are fantastic (I recommend getting them with chicken)
Their burgers are great !!! Great flavor and seasoning ‚
The wings are a great size to split between 2 people
ALSO THE NACHOS ARE THE BEST NACHOS I HAVE EVER HAD!!!
Please keep the on the menu, also the bbq seasoned fries were so amazing I wish you could bring them back !!!

Corner Social is in a great locatioj within the HEART of Harlem around the 125^th Street Area. The exact corner is 126^th and Lenox Avenue.
I came in here tonight which is a Monday night and it was a very chill vibe. There werent a toj of people so I ex0ecred to get my food super quick. This didnt happen as I saw people who were in before me get their food after awhile (10 minutes)
I got the Ribeye Steak sandwich and it turned out to be good. The location is awesome and the way that the set-​up is inside is good. There is a day party this Saturday starting at 11AM so that should be fun (Im In!). The décor and space is very good and one of the best parts of the whole place. They have a corner location so thats an A+.
I will obviously be back and this wasn’t my first time here and def wont be the last! See you at the day party! FYI drink and food specials all day this Saturday!

My coworkers and I had a HORRIBLE time at Corner Social. After a long day of teaching and not eating anything all day, we had plans to meet at Corner Social for a friend’s birthday. We were starving! Upon arriving, we joined our party and tagged down our waiter to start water and food.
First, my water cup had lipstick stains all over it, but I thought no big deal. Maybe the dishwasher didn’t do an adequate job. Strike one. The waiter Jake brought me a new water with a straw since I was grossed out.
Strike two: It took 30 min for my coworkers to get their food and 45 min to get my tomato soup and grilled cheese. The meals weren’t even complex and the venue was not packed or full. I even had to ask the waiter about my food, and he responded with what was it again? I was so HANGRY.
Strike three (and they were out): My friend’s tostadas had no meat on them. We looked back on the menu and it said chicken, beef, or shrimp. He didn’t ask her which one she wanted and brought it out with nothing. It was our first time there. Even a mediocre waiter would have asked. For $ 15, she got tostada chips with beans, guac, and lettuce on top. I could have made that at home for a couple dollars. She was so hungry that she didn’t want to wait for their poor service and long wait time to bring us out some meat on the side.
As for my tomato and grilled cheese, it tasted like ketchup with a little water, no seasonings. My grilled cheese didn’t even have butter on the bread and grilled. It was as if they toasted it in an oven and baked two slices of bread with cheese. It was $ 13.
I will not be back. I understand that waiters go through a lot, but as a teacher in the Bronx that has to multi-​task and juggle 3 classes of 30 students each, academics, paperwork, and behavior problems, I had no sympathy for our waiter’s inadequate abilities to multi-​task and provide at least normal and mediocre service. The menu was also extremely overpriced for the quality of the food.

I went to Corner Social last week with a friend. The place is right down the street from my job do it is real convenient. I have went to the establishment several times in the past and had good service and good food. This time was the EXACT OPPOSITE!!!
1. The food wasn’t the food I remember having in the past. Fries were soaked in grease and soggy and the chicken sandwich I had was an overly salted chicken sandwich. My friend got wings and fries (her fries small portion was 9 $ way over priced then before)
2. The wait staff was real laid back, I don’t know if that is the flow this place is trying to have but when it interferes with service then it becomes a problem for me. Our waiter was not helpful and seemed bothered by us. (When he was just standing with other wait staff he was laughing, joking and dancing) but when he came to us he had an attitude like he was being bothered.
3. One of worst part was that my friend wanted desert and we decided to get the fried Oreos that came with a shot of ice cream. We asked for an extra scoop of ice cream and the waiter said that we couldn’t and when asked why he said «It isn’t a button on the menu to request that from the kitchen» So I asked our waiter if he could go ask the chef if that could happen (we weren’t asking for free ice cream we was going to pay) He proceeded on telling us the reasons why he couldn’t happen then reluctantly went to the kitchen (I’m not even sure if he went back to ask because he didn’t want to go in the first place). Anyway after all that he still asked did we want the desert and we said no. He seemed upset about that as well.
4. And if you thought it couldn’t get any worse it did… Once the check came I paid cash and my friend used her card. We asked the waiter to split the bill evenly. Apparently the fact that he had to do a little subtraction annoyed him because he took the bill with an attitude and made a face which at that point put me over the top. We proceed to tell the waiter that we had a horrible experience and we would be Unilocaling and that’s when he wanted to be somewhat apologetic.
Needless to say I WILL NOT be going back to this establishment. Plenty other places in the area that I can go to.
My suggestions:
The cook/​chef needs to be a little flexible. It was ice cream that we wanted not something that was unrealistic (apple free apple pie).
For the prices charged the food needs to be of a better quality.
The service needs to get better in order for you to maintain customers.

Nice place, average food.
Close to the downtown sub.
Good for a drink.

My guests and I was excited to try this place out, as we’ve read the great reviews and drooled over instagram photos.
We called and placed name on list. i knew we were going to be late, called inadvance to be courteous and let them know of my predicted tardiness.
the hiatess BLATANTLY rolled her eyes and gave so much attitude. It immediately placed a dark cloud over our.exvitement. After sitting for five minutes, without any offer of water, we decided to leave and. go to HarlemTavern instead. wow, a blast indeed..

Nice lively spot on the corner of lenox and 125^th right off the ²⁄₃ line. Came here at 9:30 on a Thursday and it was pretty bustling but not so busy that you feel uncomfortable and can’t enjoy yourself. They take your number and text you when a spot opens up.
We didn’t wait long, at the bar or for a table (luckily we got a four top instead of the communal one). I actually thought that given it was fairly busy, our service was great.
For food I had a Portobello burger — perfectly fine but there’s probably more adventurous things on the menu. They had a decent beer list but I tried two cocktails– the Social Mint, good if you’re ok with Hennessey, and the Harlem Sage, better but unfinished because although the drinks were $ 13 each they clearly did the trick and I was singing while the played Nore’s «whatcha wanna do» sometime midway through said drink.
They were (very) sadly out of banana bread pudding and nothing else caught my eye so we skipped dessert.
I’d definitely return next time I’m in the neighborhood.
