Had a lovely chickpea and sweet potato taco with the tomato and the white sauce, can’t remember what it was called. I wanted to try the other tacos, but there were other booths to be visited.

Little booth in Greely Square park as a part of Broadway Bites. The Indian«tacos» are presented nicely and are freshly made. The tacos aren’t shells or corn tortillas, but actually Indian roti. They’re also served halfway open(i.e. not rolled up) in a little paper tray. I had the chickpea and sweet potato taco with cucumber chutney and tamarind dressing and it was pretty good. Just don’t expect it to fill you up(though this is kind of obvious by their size). Service was good as well. People behind the booth indicated that their meat may be halal, but were uncertain; would be nice if they knew for sure.

Super nice ladies enticed me to investigate this little slice of heaven. We chatted about the rain before I placed my order. I tried the Chicken Tikka taco with smoky tomatoes and cilantro sauce. This fusion of two cultures worked together so well. It could be my new favorite thing. Spicy and sweet and very fresh. Each bite gave me a flavorgasm. I want to try different combos as they will be here all summer long. I hope this trend spreads. Kudos to Broadway Bites for having so many awesome vendors.
