That’s a great place for winter coats, and that’s all! Be patient and go with enough time to go through the racks. There are many options of jackets and coats. The prices are really good!

Poor costumer service too bad. What i like the don’t have and restrooms really messy coats no’t in order floors clean but coats every where im no’t that happy.

Dont get the bad reviews. Maybe mens is better.
Pros: Great suit separates — Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein for $ 100 -$ 300 (Hugo Boss). Ironically the same suits down the block in Nordstrom rack will cost $ 299 – 600. They have some unbelievably great shoes but 20% great, 40% eh, 40% not great but all extremely well priced. Robert Graham Shoes, Diesel and John Varvatos for ¹⁄₃ to ¼ the price of those shoes anywhere. If you really hunt.
Cons: You have to hunt but there’s gold in them mines.

This place is jam packed, I just saw a man piss on himself around the men’s shoes area. The tourists are dirty and not mindful of New York City!

Bought a gift for a co-worker’s birthday. Co-​worker hinted at a specific item on Burlington’s website.
Finding the item and placing the order was quick and easy. The problem arose when item was delivered.
What I ordered was a two piece workout set… Capri pants and matching top, but only the pants were delivered.
I called customer service and it took 7 attempts to reach someone. After pressing the correct option their auto system would route the call back to the beginning.
I was finally able to reach a rep and explained what happened. She was very nice and promised to remedy the error by either sending the missing piece, if item was still in stock, or refunding my purchase if item wasn’t available. She promised to send an email to me with final details. That was two weeks ago and neither option has occurred.
I’m on hold RIGHT NOW (14 minutes and counting, thank you, speaker phone) trying to find out what’s going on.
I don’t shop here for myself, but I will never again purchase anything for anyone at any of their stores nor online.
I’d love the have a job where I am paid to do nothing.

It’s a nice place for clothes shopping. Sometimes you can find really nice deals like Hugo Boss jeans for 59 $, MC white t-​shirt for 9,99 $. Price that is really hard to beat)

Boy do I hope you have time on your hands because you’re going to need it. I’ve found many hidden gems in this store but it is like going on a treasure hunt. Sometimes I’m energized to comb through the rows of clothes and other times I’ve walked in only to make an immediate U-​turn and exit.
I have found amazing dresses, jeans and shoes at this location and all for at least 50 percent off of the retail price. The check-​out line also moves more than twice as fast as the location on 23^rd street (which is shamefully slow and should be reported to corporate). And it’s much more spacious and airy which makes for a more pleasant shopping experience.
This store was previously a Filene’s Basement and is on top of DSW and Forever 21. You’ll probably want to hit up all three stores. Again, make sure you have time.
Note for tourists: You’ll find a wonderful view of the city and Union Square from the floor-​to-​ceiling windows by the escalators. Take advantage of the photo op.

This location is so much more cleaner, brighter, and organized compared to the 23^rd and 6^th store. Like night and day.
Located in the DSW and Filene’s shopping facility in Union Square. I was surprised at how organized and more upscale this Burlington was compared to the other location.
As with most of these spots it’s really hit or miss. Sure, the prices are good here for a discount store, but you have to really dig to find what you want.
Still, if you need some new gear and don’t have a ballers bank account it’s worth taking a look here.

My favorite shopping place!
I visit this store like 2−3x a month. So many selection! We buy different stuff here, like clothes, shoes, bags, watches and whatnot.
Most items are like 30−40% less than the retail price.
I bought many Nine West wallet for $ 12.99 only, perfect for Xmas gifts!

One of the best retail establishments in the city. This store has everything I need and the low price makes you say wow. The mens store is really a poor man’s chest. Everything is neat and orderly. The staff should be praised for their devotion. Best shopping scene in town.

Burlington coat factory is a great name brand for less they have it all and the workers are great union square 14^th st great store 5 stars

Great location, unfortunately an extremely disorganized place with sizes everywhere and beyond rude staff. They left the alarm sensor on my coat and I had to return to this hell hole. Yuck.

You could make your own shirt in the time it takes to make it to the cashier to pay for one. Otherwise, a somewhat decent selection in a wildly disorganized store experience.

I came here with my girlfriends after going to the Burlington store in Chelsea. The store in Union Square had a better selection of bathing suits and summer dresses. This location was also more organized, which made it easier to shop. The prices are also very good. I would definitely be coming back soon.

Uniqlo gave me the bad news. My favorite pair of low rise jeans were not stocked anymore. Low rise was definitely out. Instead of letting that devastating news ruin me for life, I resolved to hit all the discounters in town to look for low rise. Uniqlo I might not find, but discounters, famous for last seasons apparel, had to have low rise jeans.
The new Burlington Coat Factory in Union Square, occupying the spot where Filenes used to be, is an enigma. The lighting was bright, giving it a spanking new and clean look, but alas, like with all Burlingtons, the apparel seemed more than a few seasons old. Or perhaps Burlington just caters to an older, more conservative clientele. I didn’t find my jeans (low rise, here??) but found a large selection of athletic apparel. Unfortunately, they were less stylish than what you would find at a Marshalls or TJ Maxx. Hey, I want to look like a sleek athletic machine, not my mamma on my bike. Where were the slick, form fitting jackets, the body hugging breathable tees? I haven’t worn a loose fitting sweatshirt in years. So off to housewares I went. Always good for a browse, the department here was smaller than I had hoped, but I did find a good cast iron scone pan that I refrained from buying. My oven was already runneth over with bakeware I was storing in it. The home department was good for a browse, with bedsheets and other linens. The location still boasts the same glorious views of Union Square from the top floors, so if the merchandise doesn’t interest you or you are tired from shopping, you can gaze out and take photos of the uptown skyline.

Well Organized and I like this location MUCH more than any other locations throughout NYC. The reason? The view towards Union Square and bits of the NYC skyline (including Empire State Building) is incredible from its store windows on the upper floors. Aside from that, I was surprised it isn’t so crowded and busy despite the fact that Union Square is a very busy area. Maybe people were mostly enjoying the sun and the nice weather outside today instead of shopping inside. Aside from coats, Burlington Coat Factory also sells a variety of both men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, underwear, candies (??), and yankee candles.
Not bad for a department store, I like it much better than Macy’s at Herald Square because it’s not as touristy and because the store layout is simple.

While I can only speak for the main floor (I haven’t yet ventured past the bag department) this store is clean, well organized & filled with competent and friendly staffers. And I love that when I walk in I’m greeted by a sales associate, you don’t find that too often at these large discount chain stores.
The bag department [that I’ve spent too much time in] is fabulous. Brands from Steve Madden to Nine West to Jessica Simpson and there are so many different styles and colors. Prices are discounted and make shoppers & wallets very happy [recently picked up a gorgeous cobalt blue Steve Madden bag for less than $ 40, retail for $ 98].
One of these days I’ll venture up to one of the other floors and look around… looking forward to seeing what other amazing deals I can find.

You don’t just come here to just grab a few cheap goodies, but you also come here for an amazing view of Union Square. When my brother was in town, I brought him up to Burlington to enjoy heat and view of Union Square. But he ended up shopping for a discounted suit!
The place is always clean and good deals on suits. I was excited for him that he spent less than $ 200 for a CK suit! He totally dissed my viewing suggestion, but it’s all good.

If I had to pick between this location and the one on 6^th Avenue, I’d pick this one hands down. This place is cleaner, the merchandise is better organized and when I went this evening, the lines weren’t ungodly. Registers kept opening up at what felt like lightening speed.
Managed to find a few things here & they DO have some items for the teeny tiny shopper but compared to the Nordstrom’s Rack nearby, the selection of smaller sizes was lacking. You can also find Godiva chocolate here for a little cheaper, which I thought was nice & picked up some truffles for myself (I came in to kill time after the L train was having delays at Union Square; armed with a monthly Metrocard, I said «Screw this! I’m going to browse for stuff.»).
The cashier says «Oh, that was nice of you to get chocolate for me.» She was chatting with a co-​worker but not obnoxiously or at the expense of ringing up my purchase. We chatted for a bit since I worked in retail during the holidays myself before & know how that goes.
Overall, I would come back here since it seems far less hectic & crazy here than at the other location.

huumm… this new location is still clean and shining… the employees on the other are not so shining. During my shopping experience, I overheard two employees on the floor talking loudly about how upset they were with their shift schedule… this conservation went on for about 15min and in the meanwhile, they were not doing anything. On the next floor, three employees were discussing their Halloween plans — again doing nothing else. I’m not sure how this store will survive when no one on the floor seems to care about customer service nor their employer.
Layout of the store is easy to manage and kept tidy. Carts on each floor make shopping easier, but going from floor to floor requires the elevator, which means going to the back corner of the store… waiting.
