If you understand that discount shopping should be like blitzkrieg – dive in specifically for what you want and get out once you locate it – you won’t get a headache from endless rows of unorganized racks. I like this particular Burlington for the convenient bathroom, and a quick browse through the small kitchenware department, the shoe rack and the active department. So it seems that the active-wear buyer here is finally recognizing that not everyone wants to deck out like geriatric folk on a stroll around an air conditioned mall. I’ve been noticing that Burlington has been stocking trendier and more fashionable work out gear lately. There’s a good selection of sports bras and athletic tops and pants. Yes they are past seasons but remember you are at a discounter and not Lululemon. Amp up your speed on your bike and your run and who the heck will notice, especially if you obtain your killer bod. And I love that the athletic department here is located next to the restroom! The shoe department is hit and miss; I’ve found good deals and Merrells and Dansko on a lucky day. On one day the shoe department looked more like empty shoe racks. Stocking appears random sometimes. Just remember that if you find something good, grab it and hold on to it. Returning a few minutes for another look can mean it’s gone. Burlington used to have a fun, small pet department but this was dispersed all through the different floors, a real annoyance. This location gives you a nice view of Union Square from the top floors. You can join the care worn shoppers(usually men!) who sit on the chairs looking out the windows if you are so inclined and count your savings as you rest your feet. The view’s particularly pretty around Christmastime.

This wasn’t the best location that I’ve been to. Not only were they lacking in decent clothes(very small in comparison to the other locations) but I have experienced better and more positive customer service-particularly in the fitting room. I didn’t appreciate the short tone or the mumbling under their breath-and while I understand a store can have a policy on number of items, you should still treat your customers with respect.‘ At least the customer service I experienced at check out was complete 180.

If they’d fix their ladies room & the registers weren’t so freaking packed, this place would be a lot better. Selection is pretty good, the store itself is reasonably clean and organized + a fashionista can find things here. If you’re just going here to shop on your own, you’re good but if you needed help you will do better going elsewhere.

I got a suit here. The prices are amazing. The service… not so much. I asked if someone could help me picking out a suit because I had no clue how to. «You’re a 38S, just by looking at you.» Okay, thanks for the impersonal assessment.

Burlington has been one of my favorite places to shop at since my high school days. Back on 23rd and 6th ave when it was called Burlington Coat Factory. They’ve got crazy deals and discounts on nice fabric dress shirts and suits. They’ve got a great selection of dress shoes and sneakers. The shoe department though is a bit unorganized though. They also have a great tie selection ranging from$ 7.99 to $ 15.99 on brand name ties that go for $ 50.00. It’s a steal and a blessing of a store for the working man who wants to look professional and distinguished without breaking the bank. They also have suit cases and coats for winter which are quite nice and yes again for great prices. I wholeheartedly recommend browsing around at this place. They’ve got a lot of essential items. Items and clothes for men, women, children and toddlers/babies. They also sell home furnishing items. I love Burlington. Its a great place & ideal for anyone. They also sell tee-shirts and jeans. and that’s the bottom line cause stone cold said so!

This is a great find in Union Square… their pocketbook selection is awesome! If you read my Nordstrom Rack review you will know I was on a hunt for a plain black leather tote, and I found one here! Actually they had many to choose from, all designer bags and all affordable. The store is super organized, clean and has a big selection of everything. I will definitely be back here for some retail therapy soon!

Here looking for a swim suit. It’s about that time. Good luck finding a sales person but they have nice selections of marked down clothing & coats. I didn’t find a decent bathing suit there. I guess I have way too much booty for their clothing. Oh well, better luck next time.

This is a well organized and always clean location. There’s a DSW in the same building, where I tend to stop first before not finding what I’m looking for and making my way up to the Burlington, which hasn’t disappointed me yet.
