What a nice little afternoon I had the day I stopped in here. Here you will find the softest sweaters in the world. I wanted to curl up in them and fall asleep in a corner. They have lovely boots as well. The sales associates are top notch. Very helpful in picking out looks, yet are also not pushy. Just friendly service from people who love fashion and I love this shop.
Leaving with a sweater in tow will set you back about half your rent… Manhattan rent, so be prepared.

Elegant and timeless. I own a few cashmere items from a variety of brands, everything from JCrew, to Ralph Laurent, to Loro Piana, nothing comes even close to Brunello Cucinelli in terms of tailoring and quality. That’s why I look at what I like, and try hard to find them resale. Their cashmere (even the thinnest ones) are soft, dense and do not pill. They go with everything, and the best part– they are not your run of the mill black color. I love the earth shades. It makes my wardrobe a lot more interesting and it sparkles ones creativity. I like the company philosophy of giving back to the laborers and to the community. In fact, in the century we live in, a well tailored piece of clothing coming from a humane factory SHOULD cost so much, that we think twice (or ten times) about buying it in the first place. This is not a spur of the moment buy or fast return lane. If you save on the right things, for a certain length of time, it is affordable to own a piece of Brunello Cucinelli. The trick is not to want the entire store, which is hard to do.

That is why I love Brunello Cucinelli. I’ve got my first Brunello Cucinelli sweater about ten years ago, and it’s still in style and looks like new. My loyalty to this brand is unquestionable at this point. The quality of the merchandise are equal to its price, the «casual chic» is a second name for the brand. I would strongly recommend to any one with the same passion for Brunello Cucinelli as mine, go shopping to the Bleecker street boutique. This store have almost every item present, never get overcrowded, and provide five star service. If you are a female ask for Katia, she has an amazing sense of style and a «good eye» how to apply this style to flatter individuality of each customer.

My mom loves cashmere so much that she sleeps in it during the winter. Her love for cashmere was passed down to me AND my brother and we tend to wear it all winter long.
Brunello Cucinelli has some of the most beautiful cashmere I have EVER seen and their sweaters and jackets are absolutely amazing. There’s a grey vest this season that is absolutely beautiful, and I hope they’re not sold out by the time I actually get my butt over there to pick one up for my special someone.

Quality at its finest and great for both men and women! When you try on Cucinelli, you will never want to take it off! The clothes are very simple and beautiful, which is so sexy. If you think that Ralph Lauren has soft cashmere, wait until you try on BC… it blows Ralph out of the water. The fits are so amazing! You should definitely stop by and try on an outfit. Just be careful; you will fall in love. Brunello Cucinelli just does it right.

My dear friend, Ben, introduced me to this store over the weekend. And I fell in love. HARD.
For cashmere lovers, Brunello Cucinelli is a luxurious dream. From sweaters to dresses, shirts and accessories, one could walk in and come back out looking like a million bucks. The designs are clean and elegant, using sumptuous fabric that glide over your skin and fall just the right way. I saw several thing for myself and some great luggage pieces as well.
The prices are over the top, yes. But if you want to splurge on a classic piece you’ll have for years and years, this is the place to do it… :)

If he were not charing $ 800 for a cashmere sweater Brunello could be called a communist for basically owning a village in Italy that is 95% employeed by him.
But, beside that if you want cashmere you can forget the flash in the pan styling of Lucien Pellat-​Finet (will you want a pot leaf on your $ 2400 sweater in 5 years?) or the fuddy duddy old man aesthetic of Loro Piana. You simply must come to Cucinelli (which also has a small shop on the 7^th floor of Saks).
The goods go way beyond cashmere and the sportswear are great (my favorite cords and oxfords that I wear most often are BC).
Also of interest is that Michael Bastian’s collections are produced by Cucinelli.

Wow. And do I mean wow. Brunello Cucinelli is the undisputed king of cashmere in Italy and his stuff is GORGEOUS. Equisitely detailed, light as a feather, heavenly cashmere goods — everything you can think of: coats, sweaters, gloves, hats, bags — all in the finest, most luxurious cashemere you can imagine, and classic beautiful Italian cuts. Also, of course, at prices you can’t even imagine, but one day I will wear a Brunello Cucinelli cashmere coat, but I will also live in a box, because I will have spend 6 months rent on it. And that’s NYC rent, folks. Yeah…
