History

Established in 1995.

In 1995 we opened our first store on the corner of Broadway and 12^th street in Manhattan. Many customers would come to our showroom and ask, «how and where do we start?» To that end, we set up a one stop shopping experience. We employ seasoned kitchen and bathroom designers to help our customers make choices that they’ll love for years to come.

Since our inception, we’ve opened a builders division and 2 other locations outside of Manhattan; one in Englewood, NJ and the other in Stamford, CT.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Jeff Chinman has been involved with construction since 1982. From 1982 to 1995, he worked in real estate development building several single family communities, condominium projects, and rehabilitating numerous apartment buildings.

In 1995, he purchased a kitchen and bathroom showroom in Manhattan on Broadway at 12^th street. He saw the increasing demand for a «one stop shopping experience» that could handle the design, supply and installation of a client’s entire project.

Realizing that contractors only do 98% of the work, Jeff hired in-​house designers and installers to help produce a finished product of the highest quality. He understands that the key to this business is follow through. Broadway Kitchens is not some «man in a van» type company that doesn’t answer the phone, instead it values responsibility. Is this difficult? Yes. Do customers get frustrated? Sometimes. It’s construction. However, this is the bottom line: if you need the owner, he answers the phone starting at 7am.
