Brandon Cooper – Cooper Chiropractic and Wellness Center

Dr. Cooper is as good as it gets– he is an excellent chiropractor as well as a warm and caring individual. I am so happy I found him and refer him to anyone who is on the market for a good chiropractor (even at the expense of waiting a month for an apt:) I understand that he is leaving the Wellness Center– I hope that Mount Sinia understands that the loss of practioners like Dr. Cooper is deeply felt throughout their community.

Seriously the best chiropractor and maybe even doctor I have ever been to! So sweet and genuinely cares about you. Takes great notes, listens, offers advice. HE MASSAGES before adjustment. Life changing.

So part of me is hesitant to leave a good review because I don’t want the entire world to begin making appointments, thus making it harder for me to get an appointment! That said, Dr. Cooper is just that amazing so I’ll risk it. I’ve been going to see him for around a year and a half and it’s been incredible. He’s really funny, a good listener, and makes you feel comfortable. His back cracking and acupuncture skills are top notch but I have to say that my favorite part of the session is the 15 minute massage which helps work out my shoulder and neck kinks on its own and in compliment with the actual adjustment. Go see Dr. Cooper — just not when I’m trying to get an appointment! :)

The BEST chiropractor I’ve ever been to! Dr Cooper makes you feel extremely comfortable and at ease while he adjusts your body. Within seconds of seeing your back he knows exactly what is wrong and will get you into tip top shape within no time at all. My favorite part (besides feeling awesome after the adjustment) is that you get a massage personally tailored to your body before he adjusts your back. The 10 minute massage from Dr. Cooper is better then any 60 min massage at a local massage parlor.
I always look forward to seeing Dr. Cooper and give him my full recommendation.

Last year, my back and neck had been bothering me for a few months, and despite giving physical therapy a try and practicing pilates on a regular basis, the pain wasn’t going away so I decided to see a chiropractor. After seeing 3 other chiropractors first, I finally came across Dr.Cooper.
Reasons I stuck with Dr. Cooper:
1. He accepts my insurance (was Aetna before, now Cigna)
2. He’s conveniently located (on Park between 30^th and 31^st, right near the 6 train)
3. He has convenient hours. If you’re willing to wake up early, you can definitely squeeze in an appointment in the morning.
4. He’s timely. There are never any unexpected holdups or delays at his office, and the length of each session is pretty predictable.
5. The office space is clean, organized, up-​to-​date and relaxing.
6. Dr. Cooper and his staff are both professional and friendly. Dr. Cooper is very personable without being too chatty. Even when I hadn’t seen him in almost a year, he remembered a lot of the things we talked about before (job, relationship, hometown, etc.). You can also tell that he expects the best from his staff.
7. His goal is to make you feel better, and he does. I’ve gone to other chiropractors who very obviously ran their practices like a business, charging you money every opportunity they have. These other chiropractors also often use scare tactics, telling you how misaligned you are and how much work you need. Dr. Cooper is pretty honest about the progress you’re making and will make recommendations in terms of how many more sessions you need, but never in a pushy/​forceful way.
8. His new massage therapist (I’m drawing a blank on the man’s name) is amazing. I had an early morning appointment, and I felt great after the massage therapist got rid of a lot of the knots that I had. It wasn’t a quick/​superficial massage either. The massage lasted at least 20 minutes, after which Dr. Cooper performed some spinal manipulations, and I went to work feeling like a new person.

My visits to Cooper Chiropractic always make my week. Dr. Cooper’s great sense of humor, gentle touch and back-​cracking skills are unparalleled. The clinic itself is peaceful and never rushed. Even the folks working reception are always friendly and enthusiastic — a real rarity from my experience! Definitely go to him — just don’t take my 9 am appt slot.

Dr. Cooper is amazing. He is attentive, caring and professional. I have seen him for a variety of aches and pains, including lower back pain, TMJ Disorder, and a case of whiplash. I always feel better when I leave his office. He takes a holistic approach, recommending tailored exercises and other proactive methods of preventing problems. Also, he is funny. His adjustments are always just the right amount– I trust him completely.
