This is my first time working with Bohemia. My boyfriend and I were subletting a small 1 bedroom in Harlem and decided we wanted to rent a bigger space in the same neighborhood. I researched a few real estate companies and this one seemed to specialize in the area, so I contacted them. Our agent, Nick Brown, was very professional and genuine. I never felt pushed into making a decision. We saw 6 or 7 different apartments all within walking distance of each other, until I found one I loved, in our price range. Nick was reachable and available at all times during the application process. He helped us build the best application we could. My boyfriend and I don’t have much credit to show, he’s foreign and I have pending student loans, though we’ve always been very responsible with rent payments. I was told Bohemia has an exclusive relationship with the landlord of the apartment I was interested in, and I imagine that helped a great deal in getting us approved. In the past, I’ve had to get guarantors or put down more than one month of security deposit to make up for lacking credit. But with Nick’s help we managed to get approved without extra requirements. The whole process took roughly a week and we got our keys a couple of days before our move was scheduled, which allowed me to clean up and bring some stuff in advance. Overall, I’d say I’m extremely satisfied and would definitely work with Bohemia again in the future.

It was our first time signing a lease in the city and Bohemia was with us every step of the way. Friendly staff and a wide variety of options to accommodate our needs. This is my second time working with Bohemia Realty. I have worked with two of their agents — Lu Daley and Thomas Rodriguez — and they both provided exceptional service.
Thomas Rodriguez worked with me this time around and I had a great experience. He listened to what I wanted and was patient with me (I ask a lot of questions…). He even reached out to a previous client he had placed in the building so I could ask more candid questions. I did not feel pressured into making any decisions and his communication was always clear.
I found a great apartment in the Bronx that I really liked, but unfortunately the deal fell through when the building management was unable to secure the renovation permits in time for me to move in. Thomas informed me of this as soon as he found out, but due to the short time frame (a week before I planned to move in), I decided to renew the lease at my current apartment.
I appreciate Thomas’ help along the way finding an apartment that I LOVED, even though I was not able to move in. Bohemia offered to help rush the process in finding another apartment, but I loved the other one so much, it would have been hard to find something comparable in the time I had left.

I would like to say that I did not have the pleasure of working with a realtor from Bohemia but my email interaction with one warranted this review. I searched on bohemia’s website for a two bedroom apt in Inwood. I contacted the realtor listed on a beautiful massive two bedroom apt on their website. The realtor Jill G answered back that the apartment was still listed and could definitely show me the apt and to give her some information. This isn’t my first time looking for an apt in NYC and I know that one must make at least 40x the rent listed. My boyfriend and I make well above that amount. When I responded with what I’m looking for and my credentials, she responded by saying that this particular building manager requires 60x the rent and she did not have anything to show me. She came off as very elitist and rude. There wasn’t even a thank you in her email signature. I contacted Sandra Dor from Bond Realty about the same apt. We were able to schedule a viewing right away and assured me the building manager only required 40x the rent listed. I filled out an application and got the apartment! I am currently sitting in this beautiful 2 bedroom with no thanks to Jill G. As a realtor, you should not make up lies about building management and write people off because they do not meet your personal standards. I work very hard for everything I have and definitely did not deserve to have someone look down their nose at me via email. My realty commission check shall go to Sandra over at Bond.

They were extremely helpful in narrowing down search results. We were able to visit apartments that fit our very specific requirements without having to do all of the work ourselves! What a wonderful group of people!

I never write reviews here but I had the pleasure to work with Daoud, and seriously… he is the most friendly, professional, and ‘real’ (no BS) real estate agent in NYC. And I’ve worked with gazillions of them. I highly recommend him for your next new apt. Two thumbs up!

Thanks to her I just got a sweet studio in Wahi/​Harlem. I had a tight budget but she came through.
If you are looking for an excellent, no bs, and a really-​knows-​her-​market Broker give Nadine Nassar a call. She’s just saved me a tonne of bs and scams etc. And yes you might just snag a no-​fee too if you are lucky. I was :)
She achieved, in 1−2weeks, what I struggled to achieve in my few years of my apt searching.
She was attentive, really tunes into her client’s needs while giving you very practical options to make your apartment search go smoothly.
Somebody please give her a reality-​Realty TV show or a podcast about how to get and apartment … without tears.

Daoud Heidami was awesome to work with. He showed us such a wonderful array of listings, and catered to our every need, changing plans at last minute, planning our route and truly was a great help. I was so impressed with him and recommend his services to anyone.

I worked with Daoud Heidami to find my apartment and he made what could have been a very stressful process very smooth and predictable. He was professional while being personable and genuine. He showed us 7 apartments in one night, showed us only apartments in our price range and really listened to what we wanted in an apartment. In fact, we couldn’t choose between two apartments and he walked us back to look at a place we had seen earlier in the evening so we could make the best choice. He really cared about getting us a place. I could not have gotten an apartment like this without his direction and help. Communicative and up front he let us know everything we needed to do to get the apartment and what to expect. There were no suprises. I would recommend him as a broker any day for any type of apartment you might be looking for.

I was looking for a new place over the holidays and found an exclusive listing on naked apartments. One of the brokers listed on the site was Tim, he was very accommodating and met with me with short notice. I would recommend Tim Heath to anyone looking for a new place to call home.

I truly could not have asked for a better agent to work with me in my journey to find a three bedroom apartment for myself and my roommates in a whopping two days by myself! It was a gift to have Arron Lloyd’s assistance throughout this process. On the first night we saw the apartment, which I am sitting in as I type this now, and after nailing down our final decision we began the application process the next evening before I got on a plane in the morning.
Since we were all fresh out of college we needed guarantors in order to get a decent place. So, the paperwork and waiting game began, but Arron was there every single step of the way. He literally held my hand through everything. Which, honestly, being someone who really had a limited clue of what I was doing, I would have drowned without him. I spoke with him everyday on the status of our application, as it took about a week to find out whether or not we’d been approved. He walked me through everything that was happening when there was another tenant already living in the building who was showing interest in the apartment, and constantly assured me that he was doing everything he could to make sure we’d be approved.
Arron was always incredibly positive and forward thinking, consistently checking in on our status and the process even after he handed us over to the liaison between ourselves and the landlord, who was not nearly as helpful or attentive as Arron. Even though we’d already been approved and we’re just left to meet with the landlord and sign the lease, he called me the night before i left to return to New York and reassured me that he would be at the lease signing in the morning to make sure that everything went well and simply provide myself and fellow roommate with support.
As I said before, I truly could not have asked for more. As a young artist moving to the city for the first time, Arron was the exact person I needed to be working with. He not only had an extensive knowledge of the neighborhoods we were looking at, but he was able to provide guidance on possibilities for employment and avenues for artistic connections. He is a well rounded agent with knowledge that is extremely beneficial to any newcomer with limited funds making the transition to New York. I’m sitting here now absolutely in love with the exposed brick, gorgeous hardwood floors, and big open kitchen with a brand new stove/​oven in our apartment just five blocks from the subway; and although we don’t have laundry in the building it doesn’t even matter. Arron new how to find us a place that felt like home, and let me just say my friends, this must be the place! Thank you ARRON!!!

My wife and I had a terrific experience with Stephanie Cammarata. Unfortunately we ended up having to stay in our current apartment when our situation changed; however, Stephanie was very flexible and accommodating with her schedule and was also extremely courteous and professional when we explained our circumstances. Most of all, she was very patient and we never felt pressured in any way.
We will be sure to visit Bohemia Realty Group when contemplating our next move!

Brad Lassiter is truly a GLADIATOR! For months, he dedicated his time to find my roommates and I the «perfect» NYC apartment. He was patient, kind, and most importantly he was very informative. Even after we moved in, he checked in to see if everything was ok and if we needed anything. Although the search for our apartment was long and sometimes bleak, Brad’s enthusiasm never faded (not once!). I’ve worked with many agents before and none of them are quite like Brad.

My roommate and I were looking for apartments in Harlem, and needed to find a place very quickly. Jared came to the rescue! He was extremely efficient, and helped us find our dream apartment on our first night of viewing places! Throughout our apartment search, and even after signing the lease, Jared was responsive, thoughtful, and worked hard to ensure that we were set up with everything we needed. Thanks to Jared, my roommate and I are settled in a lovely apartment in our desired neighborhood. We are very grateful!

My room mate and I had decided to relocate to NYC, but it was proving difficult to find an apartment while we were in another city.
A friend sent us to Sam Kiernan at Bohemia and he just clicked with us.
We had all sorts of weird questions and requirements, and he got us an apartment that seemed way out of our possible range.
I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for Sam and BRG for making this move as seamless as possible.

We were given the run-​around by a few other seemingly reputable NYC realtors (Citi Habitats and Modern Spaces, I’m looking at you!) before — thank god — stumbling upon Bohemia. Matt Kiernan helped us find an amazing apartment. It’s a three bedroom, it’s been newly redone, it’s under market, and it has a home office. The location is great — it’s a dream come true.
Not to mention that Matt worked with us when we hit a snag on our application, was in touch throughout the entire process (my emails never went more than a few hours without being answered) and he made us feel like he was actually working on our side. Given that finding a new apartment is, I am certain, in the top five worst life experiences, Matt really went out of his way to make it fairly pleasant. If we had started with him from the beginning, we wouldn’t have had any trouble at all.
I fully intend to go back to Bohemia, and Matt specifically, the next time I need to move in New York. We couldn’t find anyone else better!

Broker Jessica Wagner did an amazing job in finding my first apartment in NYC! I just moved to NY from Denver and had no idea that finding an apartment was so overwhelming in the city. I was hesitant to use a broker with the fees however, I am so glad I did since Jess was on top of her game and was very willing to go the extra mile to locate me an apartment that was in my budget and in the area I wanted to reside in.
She made me feel extremely comfortable with her upbeat personality and knowledge of the real estate in NY. Jess always replied back to my phone calls and emails in a timely manner. If I told her I was not into the apartment that she had shown me, she would immediately suggest other apartments and was willing to show the apartments when they came available.
If you need a broker, I definitely recommend Jessica Wagner!!! You will have an easy, comfortable, informative experience without the stress of finding a place on your own.

All 5 stars go to agent Honey St Dennis. I just moved all the way from Texas, and this move would have not happened without her. Some other agents/​companies that I told this to didn’t really work with me, or if they did they acted like I was right down the street. Honey took the time to understand the situation and worked with me appropriately.
She sent me nice places, even going to take video of any place I had any interest in. Always kept a nice stream of communication, letting me know what I needed, and always had me in the loop. Best of all she never pressured or made me rush a decision, always let me take my time.
I really can’t say enough how much help she was. A fantastic renting experience.

Wow. What an amazing experience. The realtors here are very hard working, honest and are willing to give great advice.
I met with Arron by chance and it was the best thing that could have honestly happened to me. I was already working with another broker who was sending me in circles for a week and a half. Pressed for time Arron was sure he would find me a place to put a deposit down that day. And yes. He sure did! My application was rushed and I had keys in less than five days. Amazing. I couldn’t be happier and I would highly recommend them to anyone I come in contact with.

My only constructive feedback is the reception staff. They’re a little mean and not welcoming. They have this snotty attitude about them and know nothing about what is going on in their office. They’re constantly googling things online and ignore you as soon as you walk in the door. Thank god they were not my first impression of Bohemia. Because I would have walked out and not come back. Don’t let them block you from the great realtors hiding in the back! The front desk is definitely not a reflection of the team in its entirety.
Again thank you Arron and I believe her name was Erica. I briefly met with her but she was a big help.
My next move I will definitely be stopping by. :)

Who thought the moving process could be so easy!
We came across our lovely apt through street easy within the first day it was listed and immediately contacted the broker, Jared Isaacson. I must say he is the best! He responded immediately to our emails and made me feel so comfortable in letting him know all we were looking for in an apartment. On the day we were to see the apt, he also showed us other listings he had within our price range and I appreciated that cause we didn’t even ask.
Once we decided to take the apt, the process to sign our lease was cake! Jared lead us through the entire process and on the day of signing, I think it literally may have taken 10 mins to sign my lease with all questions answered and all.
Honestly, Jared made me feel as though he were a friend, being never too pushy but yet informative in regards to the real estate business and the catch we got with our apartment. The follow ups after signing have also reassured me that if I ever have a problem, I can always contact him. I recommend working with him!
Bohemia is the place to go when trying to find your own piece of New York.
