Bistro 2 Go

I recently ordered for delivery and it took over an hour to get here. It would have taken me less time to walk there, have a meal, and walk back to my place. The delivery guy called me and asked me to come get him, and when i did he wasn’t anywhere near where he told me to meet him. He finally arrived at my door 15 minutes later. Since it was delivery, i payed a generous tip with my credit card (i’m going to stop doing that from now on) and didn’t even receive an apology for how long it took. The food was cold and unappetizing. A great waste of an hour and 15 bucks for a cold lousy panini.

This is a great cheap eat in Murray Hill. I live 2 seconds away and have frequented this place 4 times in the past week. If you’re craving a healthy salad that won’t dip into the wallet too much, this is your spot. For a small salad (not very small), it’s $ 3.95 + tax, which equals $ 4.33. You can pick from spinach, mixed greens, or lettuce as a base and in the price it includes 5 toppings of your choice. Even chicken, which is unlike most other salad places in the city which charge a premium for meat and some other toppings. They have a pretty good selection of toppings and some change daily. If you like spicy food, try the spicy grilled chicken in your salad. They also have a good variety of salad dressings. If you have a larger appetite, they also have medium salads for $ 4.95 and large salads for $ 5.95.
This place also serves hot food and grilled food. My boyfriend has tried their cheesesteak sandwich and really liked it. Items from the grill are made fresh. He’s also had their hamburger special which comes with fries and a soda for $ 6.75 and said that was pretty good too. Everything on the menu is extremely reasonably priced.
They also have two tables and some counter space to sit at, but I just take it to go. There’s also two computers with free internet for people to use.
The reason for the five star is because I don’t know of any other deli in the city that has good food and cheap prices.
