My husband loves the suits from here! Much better fit than buying ready made and best priced we have seen for this caliber of product. Customer service was great as well.

I had as good an experience as it is possible to have. My father was a tailor so I know fitting. The owners could not have been nicer to me and treated me as a valued customer and person. They were patient and went through all of the possibilities with me. In the end, I purchased a suit and a shirt. They measured me for both. The suit was ready exactly when they said it would be. They phoned me to let me know and I went and tried it on. It fit wonderfully and I am not easy to fit. I am expecting the same for the shirt. I recommend this store and its owners to any and all.

When reaching out to Badger & Welsh to create a custom-​fitted shirt for my wedding, I never thought I’d have a customer service experience where the vendor was unresponsive for a month and then deliver the wrong product three weeks after the promised time. This is not to mention that they were unapologetic as well as disrespectful to my wife and me when we were upset about the poor customer service experience (and I had paid them at the beginning of the order nonetheless). They also shared racially insensitive language in their correspondence with me as well as hung up on me when I called to follow up on the order, which was already three weeks late. Lastly, when I followed up to check on the status of the second version of the order (i.e. the corrected one), they never responded to my email when I asked them to (which was me filling in the lack of details they provided in what one would consider an invoice, which the vendor doesn’t even provide to begin with) as well as my multiple text and voicemail messages asking for the status and delivery of it.
I ultimately received the corrected product (which was barely satisfactory) over a month after the original promised date, which was just two days before my wedding. This experience does not even broach the level of disrespect they showed my wife by mocking her when she questioned how they could do business like this (he would respond with, «you’re right — I’m a terrible person» — essentially to brush her off) and the amount of extra time, money and energy I spent having to find another shirt because of their lack of response and guarantee. By the week of my wedding, I assumed I wasn’t even receiving the order because they wouldn’t write me back with any sort of update, confirmation, etc. For references of similar experiences, visit
