I use B&H for all my glass needs in Manhattan and surrounding areas. Primarily for glass in new cabinet doors. Both product and craftsmanship are always top notch, on time, and reasonable priced. I highly recommend Tony, Nancy and company.

Wow. I’m so surprised by the negative reviews for B&H. Tony did an amazing job on our new screens. We have very large windows that slide open. It was clear this was going to be a custom job. Tony stuck with his timeline(only a week!) and delivered a great product with fab customer service. He’s polite and friendly. I will refer then to anyone who asks me. You can’t go wrong with Tony Theoharis and B H Window and Frame.

They did a great job preserving an old poster for me. The framing choice looks great, and didn’t break the bank. Super nice people too!

STAYAWAY! AMATEURHOUR. Completely unprofessional, low quality materials and shoddy work. If you’re going for that institutionalized prison cell look, go right ahead! Screen frames were made out of heavy duty stainless steel, which were bolted down with must have been spare parts from the Brooklyn Bridge, blocking opening of one of our windows and left a nice gap on the other side for some critters to come right in this summer. In the event we really needed to break out of Riker’s, 4 nice heavy duty handles were screwed into each screen so we could get a good grip just in case our doorman building went Mad Max and we needed to make a beeline like batman and robin. Spoke to Tony and had to chase him down to refund us on his engineering marvel. He agreed to refund after explaining he created a fire hazard by bolting us in. 5 weeks of chasing him down and having his wife cover for him ended up with a special trip to his store where he denied me a refund like the tough guy he is. After threatening to setup up camp in the store, his wife talked some sense into him and we FINALLY got our refund. Plenty of better screen guys out there. Save yourselves the hassle

The owner, Tony, apologized for he had surgery, which delayed him. The quality of his work is excellent. His prices are fair.

Brought in a couple of frames that replacement glass. The proprietor quoted $ 25 at drop off. When I came back to pay and pick up, the lady in the store asked for $ 45. Having told her that I was quoted a lower price, she corrected the price to $ 31. I called later, asking for the owner as he was not in the store when I picked up the frames to tell him about the price discrepancy. The lady berated me on the phone, asking me to «bring back the frames» and said that the price quoted was already very good. Tried to explain to no avail that I don’t care about the price, but the way they(she) do/does the business is unacceptable. The lady continued to yell and wouldn’t hear what I said, boasting that she has been in business for 25 years and that we can take our frames elsewhere. She promised to have the owner call me back to clarify and I have never heard back. Dishonest merchant and rude customer service, if there was such. Will never set foot in this place again.

I have had these lovely folks cut a mirror to size for me and some framing work. True artists, the proprietor has an exquisite eye. Incredibly nice people. Love this place.

I recently just moved and we all know that is very stressful. I have casement windows and needed to rig something for a portable ac exhaust. After searching and searching from canal street to Uptown, I just happen to walk by this store on my way home from work which is only two blocks away. I asked if they had plexiglass and if they cut it as well. They do. I gave my measurements and after getting home I realized I need to tweak the measurements. I not only called once, but three different times cause I didn’t realize what I was saying. But the best part about the wonderful people and their customer service is I got a call one hour later letting me know they were in the area and wanted to know if it was convenient for me and they would come do measurements to make sure they were correct. TWOTHUMBSUP! Wonderful people!

Framing things is VERY expensive. That said, this place is wonderful. They have been in the neighborhood for a long time, and the service was excellent. One of the owners suggested frames for two prints and understood perfectly what we were looking for. When one of the frames came in damaged, they rushed the return and had them done in a day. The work is really beautiful. They also do home décor such as window treatments, and I think I saw some carpeting??? Really, really fantastic business. Makes me glad to live in Inwood.
