Dont get the vietnamese food. tried pork sandwich felt like puking

Chinese style bakery but also has a small Vietnamese & Chinese menu as well. Good prices. Points for free wifi.

My morning ritual consists of buying their amazing iced coffee (serves as an afternoon treat and dessert as well for me) and one of their many coconut goods. For a total of $ 2.80 you can’t go wrong. If your friendly to the staff they’re friendly right back and the location is definitely convenient, instead of walking up the three avenues to reach china town.

Eating here will most definitely not break the bank. Every morning I stop by to pick up a quick pastry and a coffee on my way to work. This costs me $ 1.90. If I’m feeling extra hungry I get a second pastry for $ 2.80. I’ve even gotten into the habit of picking up lunch for myself and coworkers in the morning. 3 pastries, shrimp rice noodle, a pair of tea eggs, pan fried noodles. $ 6.80.
Mostly I go because the staff is really friendly, especially the ladies on the weekends. They speak Cantonese with me and always have a smile on their faces.
Their food is freshest in the morning. If you go there at lunchtime, stick with just the pastries otherwise they’ll stick a styrofoam box of rice noodle in the microwave to heat it up. :-/

Well I was stuck waiting for the dry cleaners to open at 7 30 am and I needed a place to crash.
This used to be another bakery before they went on vacation, yes that was what the sign said. But they were actually remodeling.
I love Chinese bakeries, the cakes are so light and not so sugary. I had a red bean cake and melon soy drink. The coffee from here has always been very good.
Service was fast and like always really inexpensive and good.
The last time I was in here as the old store they were selling fried chicken wings, really hope they don’t go back to that. Just stick with being a bakery.
