Poor quality! Don’t waste your money!
This review is for the products and their poor costumer service and not the store.
I have purchased two months ago the «Elements Confetti Charm Cocktail Ring». Beautiful ring. After wearing it few times, both hanging charms fell. I exchanged the defected ring to a new one. And same thing happened with new ring!!! Both stones fell! Very disappointing. I have contacted costumer service few times, it took them a while (over a month!) to get back to me and tell me that they are sorry and that this ring is very delicate. I’m returning the ring and hopefully will get full refund. Won’t buy there again.

Oh Alexis Bittar, you fig-​scented mecca of everything glittery, beautiful and easy-​to-​wear… I love you. And after my most recent experience with customer service, I love you even more.
See, here’s the thing: I received a spiked thin cuff from here for my birthday last year — the kind you bend ever so slightly to fit to your wrist. But possessing what must be a freakishly-​large-​hand to freakishly-​small-​wrist ratio, I bent the beautiful thing one too many times, snapping it in half. Most stores would say ‘tough luck’ — the piece was a year old, and it was admittedly mostly my own fault — but not AB. Geoffrey spoke to management and worked out store credit for the item, since they couldn’t replace it — generous customer service that certain other shops on this stretch of Bleecker (AHEM, I’m looking at you, Zadig and Voltaire…) would benefit to take a few cues.
And the store itself: Love the intimate layout, the hands-​on approach (no locked cases here), the friendly staff that make you feel like it wouldn’t be at all silly to spend an hour or so just trying on everything in the cases (again, shoutout Geoffrey!), and of course the beautiful products, which are truly show-​stoppers. A great place for browsing, gift-​giving, and impulse purchases you’ll never regret.

Although I love the Alexis Bittar jewelry, I will never buy any of it again because of their lost earring policy. I bought a pair of Alexis Bittar earrings at Nordstrom for my daughter, who lost one of them. On my behalf, Nordstrom contacted Alexis Bittar to see about buying a replacement. They told Nordstrom their firm policy (also stated on the AB website) of never selling a replacement earring, and that I would have to buy a complete new pair at the full price. REALLY BAD customer relations. No more Alexis Bittar for me.

Sammy was truly the best!!! He’s very knowledgeable about jewelry and able to pull pieces based in our tastes and tell the story behind the collection. Gorgeous jewelry boutique and designer’s line.

Unhappy with «store policy» and pseudo niceness.
My husband spent hundreds of $$ at this location on jewelry for me, brings me back a piece that i don’t like, he returns it and only gets store credit. We live out of state and ask for money back and no yielding, no helping, no customer service. Big brand name, big disappointment!

The people that work here are so so nice. Great place for unique jewelry. Sales on the website are honored in store.

Love this store. Went there on 4÷15÷13 and the salesman (from Portland originally, but I can’t remember his name) was so friendly and helpful. I bought a beautiful bracelet. I will visit again the next time I’m in NY.

I love Alexis Bittar — this shop is well appointed for it’s size and the staff have always been super sweet and helpful every time I’ve been there.
Even though it is costume jewelry and somewhat pricey — it is worth it for the unique designs.
They also have some great pieces around $ 100 — perfect for gifts!

I can understand why almost everyone has given this store 5 stars. I have been a fan of Alexis Bittar for a long time. I first saw his work at Blue Ruby in Vancouver, so I HAD to go to his store in the West Village. I even visited the MoMa gift shop or a second time to see what they had.
The store has a huge array of his work. I walked out with two sets of earrings, which I could never find in Vancouver. The sales people are super friendly and helpful. I love all of the pieces. They are a nice change from traditional metal-​work. The lucite bracelets and rings are so fun, and they really spice up an outfit. However, they are also quite versatile.
They jewellery is about $ 20 cheaper (or so) compared to the Canadian prices. If you’re a fan, you cannot miss out.

The jewelry is beautiful. I especially love the Miss Havisham pearls: so gorgeous and romantic, like unrequited love. The prices are fairly high for costume jewelry.

Love Alexis Bittar! Made a pit stop to pickup earrings before heading over to One if by Land Two if by Sea. Helpful sales girls and overall cute little store.

I have no regrets buying another pair of ear candy, even though it meant not sending my child to summer camp for a week. I think he’ll get more out of having a happy mom.
