Horrible. Aside from taking over an hour and 40 minutes to deliver a single burrito, they were rude on the phone(hung up on me) and the steak was waaaay too chewy. These guys are just the worst. Didn’t even apologize for their piss poor service. Avoid at all costs.

This place is crap. I thought it was going to be a healthy alternative to Mexican food but it’s just shitty Mexican food. You’re better off at other restraints on the area

I legit like this place — I order 2 – 3 times per week for lunch. I’ve only ever gotten delivery so I can’t comment for eating in the restaurant. Food is tasty and is delivered quickly. Smoothies are great, but $$$.

I don’t usually write reviews on here, but since I go to school around the area I always stop by here. The food is amazing and the customer service is great as well .I really cant remember a single time I had a complaint about this restaurant. Either way I would recommend it to all my friends . P.s girls the manger is cute ;)

Ordered from here and it took 1:30 for the food to arrive. It was cold, as was to be expected. Never ordering from here again. The food was pretty bad, even if it had been delivered on time and was hot.

I order from seamless everyday and the food is great. Delivery is fast which is rare to come by on seamless.

Review is for delivery — I have not eaten at the restaurant. Delivery never arrived after 1.5 hours. Whoever picked up at the restaurant did not apologize or even acknowledge that a mistake had been made. No refund offer was provided — I had to call Seamless afterwards to get my money back. Look elsewhere for delivery.

Day 8 of Mealpass, I chose white corn posole and salad from Al Horno. I’ve always eaten pork posole, so the chicken was a nice variation. It came with tortilla chips on the side(+1) but it was missing lime wedges(–1). The salad greens were fresh, and it featured avocado, corn, tortilla chips, black beans and cheese. I didn’t notice any dressing, even on the side, but the avocado and cheese made it creamy enough that I didn’t miss it. I’d love to have this lunch again(with limes next time!)

I’ve never been here before until today and I probably made a bad decision. All I can say is that my friend likes the food here. I think it’s a good Mexican joint but not the best place for healthy juices. I got the Super Green juice and it tasted watered down and salsa-like which I thought was strange. Will try their food next time but will never get juices here.

I don’t know how healthy the food really is but I figured I try it out since it was in the area and my boyfriend had brought me a groupon to check it out. The service is slow considering I never seen a line in there, they must get most of their business from online orders. The menu was a bit hard to chose something because it felt like a trap — luring you in with the promise of Mexican food then throwing in all these healthy ingredients in there as well. Plus the prices, especially for the burritos made it visible I was helping out in paying the rent. The food took longer then needed and it tasted bland… I guess lean means lack of flavor, the hot sauce was definitely needed. It was basically more healthy than I bargained for so there definitely won’t be any repeat visits.

First post on Unilocal!Unfortunately this post is not to report good news… Their burritos are delicious however their customer service is sub-par. They accidentally put salsa in the burrito I ordered(despite being explicitly clear I didn’t want any) and when I called to tell them that there must have been a mistake, they accused me of putting the salsa in the burrito myself. It is a sad day because now I have to find a new fav burrito spot!

From a food point of view, it’s a two. It’s healthy Mexican food. It’s so hard to get Mexican food to be good and still be healthy. It basically tastes like food I feel like I make at home when I want healthy Mexican — serviceable but bland. And I don’t like paying for what I fee like I can make at home. Their smoothies are more on the three star side, but because everything’s a little on the pricey side for quick take out food, I rounded down for the place on the whole. I would still come back for a smoothie if it’s convenient for you and you’re in a crunch but I wouldn’t come out of my way.

I’ve been vegetarian for 10 years and ordered from here because they advertise tofu and«healthy» Mexican food. I discovered that they put pork in my burrito bowl and realized it too late. I got terribly sick and am extremely disappointed that such carelessness occurred. As much as I did enjoy the food, I would never order from here again. Vegetarians beware

if you’re from California and been looking for something to replace Baja Fresh burritos(the early years when they were good), this is it. Mmmhmm.phenomenal. Ok gotta go, there’s like three bites left just screaming to be consumed.

If your looking for a lean Mexican meal, this place is the spot. Not sure exactly how«healthy» it actually is as I’m probably sure the calorie content is up there– but it’s much healthier than your average Mexican fried enchilada and taquitos. I’ve had their morning burrito and their chicken bowl. The guac is key(though I’ve had better– could use some lime and heat for sure). The al horno sauce, tomatillo sauce and red sauce all help with that so I usually order sides of those. Though it does great with some of my own green El Yucateco cuz I like it extra spicy. I prefer black beans to pinto. I never thought I would like quinoa in Mexican food but somehow it all works! The delivery takes about 50 mins which is about average I guess.

I’ve been here 3 times. The first time I got the fish burrito which was so fresh delicious and healthy, then the fish taco which was also very yummy, but the third time I got the fish taco it was not as good as the first. They forgot to add the avocado and it tasted more like cheap Tex-mex. I don’t know if I’d come back…

Bright, fresh flavors! I am reviewing the avocado quinoa salad with chicken and cilantro lime dressing. It’s my first time here. Extremely fresh vegetables chopped uniformly and small. Perfect pico de gallo, not too spicy. Incredible cilantro lime dressing. Also perfectly prepared chicken, all white meat, no questionable pieces, nice grill flavor. The quinoa was done right and added great texture. Lovely presentation. Every ingredient was both healthy and delicious, a tough combination to achieve. Also, the music was cool, and the customer service attentive and generous. I can’t wait to try other menu items. This was the best lunch hour salad I’ve had, like, ever.

I’ve ordered from this place twice now. The first time was nearly 1 hour 15 minutes for our delivery. The most recent order took 1 hour and 45 minutes. Food is fine, but definitely not worth the wait and with a lot of other options for Mexican in the area. I’d recommend going to pick up or ordering delivery elsewhere.

Just went to the new location on Lexington btwn 23 and 24th and it is just as great as the other 2 locations!!! The store is so nice and clean and as usual the food is amazing! I love Mexican food but I also love my figure so this is def. the right spot for me. Where else can you get healthy mexican food in NYC or anywhere for that matter??? My new favorite menu item Is the Fajita Quasadilla –onions, peppers and lowfat pepper jack and steak!!! So filling and tastes so good! Trust me if you are looking for a new healthy spot come go to Al Horno!
