I found Adonis through a friend’s referral. After googling him and seeing the 5-​star reviews I didn’t hesitate to call. He moved me today. I appreciated the flat rate he charged after getting outrageous quotes from competitors. Didn’t get any hidden surprises and I didn’t stress the clock like I would have with other movers. He and his team were prompt, friendly, diligent, and showed concern about my belongings and transporting them safely. I completely understand why he has the reputation he has. It is well deserved. I actually saved his number in my phone so I can recommend him to anyone I come in contact with that might need his services.

Can’t even begin to explain how unbelievable Adonis and his team are. They made what was began as a horrible moving day (rain/​problems with the landlord and broker) into an easy and stress free situation. They brought everything from TV’s to mirrored nightstands to even our hanging clothes and valuables. This was all backed up in an hour (practically everything we had in our 2 bedroom apt). They even sent a tracking link so we could see their location while traveling from our old apt to the new one. They broke down the beds and reassembled upon arrival and placed everything exactly where it needed to be. We were so impressed that we asked them for a stack of business cards that we could give all of our friends when it was finished. Can’t recommend them enough!

There is only one way to describe the process of moving and that is «NERVE-​RACKING». You have to go through the process of saving money for the move, packing all the items that you plan to move and, most importantly, searching for and finding an ideal, reputable, reliable and affordable moving company that will get the job done. It can be a very daunting and tedious task, but you know that it has to be done. Well, after searching for weeks, reading countless Unilocal reviews of various companies and back and forth emails to companies for rate quotes, I was quite fortunate enough to have found Adonis W NYC Movers. , so I decided that I would take a chance and utilize his services. After the entire moving process, there is only one word that best describes my experience and that word is PHENOMENAL!!!
My move consisted of a two part drop-​off move — from my storage unit, to Goodwill to donate some items, and then to my apartment. When I arrived to my storage unit, Adonis and his team members were already there waiting for me. We started a little after 3pm on a weekday. They got to work immediately and had all my boxes moved out of my storage unit and loaded onto the truck in less than 30 minutes. They told me that I could ride with them from/​to all my destinations which I truly appreciated. We dropped off the items that I planned to donate to Goodwill and we were done in less than 30 minutes. BAM!!! And, yes, I made certain to obtain a receipt for tax purposes. On the way to my apartment, I was still stressing and thinking how on earth were all those boxes going to fit into my studio. Once we arrived to my apartment, I watched Adonis and his team swiftly unload all those boxes off the truck, load them onto the cart and hand trucks, get on the elevator and, once we were inside my apartment, they unloaded each box with caution, care and ease. They neatly stacked all the boxes against the wall and when the cart and hand trucks were empty, I finally breathe a HUGE sigh of relief seeing all the boxes inside my apartment and nothing had been compromised in terms of space. I was astounded that after stressing aaaaaaaall day about how this move was going to go thinking that it would probably take 4 – 5 hours and worrying how was I going to get aaaaaaaall those boxes moved into my apartment, in the end, the entire move process actually took around 2 hours and everything worked out perfectly. An absolutely STRESS FREE move. A great big «THANK YOU» goes out to Adonis and his team. They were extremely professional at all times and TRULY are the best at what they do and they most certainly got the job done.

I am a big fan of Adonis and his company Adonis W NYC Movers. He puts his heart and head into his business, getting you moved out FAST and creating a fun atmosphere during what could be a very stressful time. I never thought that a moving experience could be celebratory, but that’s how it felt from start to finish. Adonis and his movers were warm and reassuring from the start of my most recent move in October — one which happened to be quite stressful.
Adonis gave me a great rate, and the actual move itself was fast and efficient. He was accompanied by four of his highly skilled movers: both men and women, which I loved. I would absolutely recommend these true NYC movers.

I had an issue with my building when it comes to timing. It was little after 5PM and they didn’t let me move my furniture. I had to wait for next day and we could start from 7AM! I was helpless and Adonis was so kind and let me leave all my stuff in both trucks for overnight! Otherwise I would be screwed! I’m so thankful and glad I found such a good people like you

Adonis and his team were great to work with. They were on time, responsive, and helpful from the get go. His pricing is extremely reasonable and he’s super friendly. Although we ran into an issue getting our couch into our new apartment, and it didn’t fit in the stairwell, Adonis was very helpful and polite. It wasn’t the fasted move ever, but I’d prefer it to be slower and make sure everything is in good shape.
My only tiny con to the move was we ended up with a lot of hand prints and dirt from the movers clothing on our walls, which is proving hard to remove.
Overall, we’d definitely work with Adonis again. He’s not trying to rip you off like a lot of big moving companies. He does the job and does it well. I highly recommend.

Adonis and his crew really thrive on superior service, trust, and efficiency. They’re on time, super friendly, kind, efficient, and move with caution.
One of the qualities I admire the most is asking for customer’s move budget. It is rare for moving companies to ask because almost all companies never do, and over-​charge you.

This is my second time using Adonis NYC Movers, and just like 8 months before, they again provided OUTSTANDING service! I had to move out of my apartment a queen bed, couch, desks, dressers, etc. They arrived on-​time, they were very efficient, they take great care to ensure no walls are damaged in the move, and they are very professional.
This is my go-​to company that I use for moving services. I have used them twice now, and each time, they have been EXCELLENT. I am very fortunate to have found a great NYC moving service that I can trust and rely upon. I am not the type to write Unilocal reviews, but as a loyal customer who appreciates excellent service, I proactively want to make others aware that you will be highly satisfied you picked Adonis. And just like for me, after you use them once, they will also become your go-​to company whenever you need movers!

Honestly could not have possibly envisioned a better moving experience than I had with Adonis and his hardworking crew. Showed up early for our agreed upon meeting time, was warm and welcoming, had an attentive and hardworking crew with him, and treated my stuff as if he was moving his own apartment.
We had some straggler stuff, as everyone does, and Adonis anticipated that and had extra boxes ready to throw it in before we even asked. He was quick to help with anything we needed, and was clear in his communication of what he needed.
As for the price, I got quotes from three other companies, all of which gave «estimates» but insisted that «all movers work on hourly rates» and «all movers add one hour additional for travel time». Adonis asked me to break down what I was moving in an email, and responded within 15 minutes with a quote, including clear and concise «add-​ons» like cleaning and bed assembly if we wanted to utilize it. That quote remained the exact same and that’s what we ended up paying.
More than anything, they’re just NICE! Adonis, Adonis, Jonathan, and Elba were kind people who wanted to make the process as easy on us as they could.
I hope to not have to move again soon, but I won’t even bother looking for anyone else if I do. Adonis is my guy in NYC for sure.

Worst nightmare ever, I still think of it and get sick.
I still cannot believe we hired them, we almost stopped talking to the people that recommended them to us.
Movers? Haha, that is way too much to say. Adonis is totally unprofessional in every single aspect of it.
Our move took them more than 12 hours (a one bedroom move in Manhattan), all my family was desperate, and thank God we did not have a deadline in the new place to use the elevators.
Almost every single piece got scratched, chipped, got dirty or was broken. From tables, to frames, to pieces we told them in advance were delicate. At the end of the move, when I complained, he literally said he had brought some extra boxes and that he could not do anything about it.
Doormen at the place we were leaving (people with tons of experience in move-​ins and outs) were horrified, and I received many comments as of how was I hiring such an unprofessional service.
I had in written they would have to disassemble one piece of furniture. It did not matter to Adonis, he torn it apart (it took me almost an entire day to fix it) and was asking for $ 600 more at the end of the move.
Do not expect them to cover/​protect things. I had to insist them to cover a big part of the furniture, and best case the only thing they did was to put one extra thin layer of bubble wrap, totally inadequate for some of the pieces which in most cases suffered from this. Forget about what OZ or other companies do to take care your furniture. I even had to work my self so that the damage they were causing did not got bigger.
I am not saying you cannot save a couple of dollars hiring Adonis, but believe me that you are going to regret it at least for a few months.
I seldom write reviews, but this was an extreme case.

This is the best help anyone could ask for during a stressful move. I was in the middle of moving and ran into a large problem and Adonis and his crew were over to help fast! I can’t say enough good things — professional, experts, fast, friendly and amazing!
I look forward to moving again to thanks to these guys.

Doesn’t have the time for you. I get your busy but forgetting you even talked to me? and getting back to me 2 days after I move my stuff? not professional.

I DON’T HAVE A REVIEW FOR A MOVING COMPANY BECAUSE I MOVED IT MYSELF. don’t go around the fact that you let your customer down, and forgot about them. THAT is unacceptable no matter how «good» you think your reputation is.
As for having nothing good to say, I have SPECIFICALLY decided to make an account with Unilocal to help and try to have people avoid places and people like you. SORRY IF MY OPINION hurts your feelings or business. Such is life!

So i have tons to say, where shall i began…
These guys are super fasttttt! I had 4 movers, 1 cleaning lady (elba) & 1 lady who wrapped my furniture. They showed up 1 hour early & we’re done in 3.5 hours! & i have tonssss of things! I would certainly recommend this moving company if your lazy like me & want to do little to no work when it comes to moving. I also didnt add that i moved from a 3 floor walk up & these guys did not complain!
Another cool thing is Adonis himself helps with the move. Talk about dedicated hands-​on entrepreneur!
A few things that i would change is the communication. I communicated with Adonis only through email which can be a little sketchy, especially with all the fraud & things going on in our society! I wish he would have called & quoted me the price as oppose to email only.
Secondly, he quoted me a price & at the the time of payment i ended up paying more but im sure many people do this. I expected it was going to be higher than the quote he originally gave me because of our communication. So keep in mind, its good to have extra money on hand just incase this happens to you!
Overall, i enjoyed my experience with them, I would definitely use them again !

Adonis & crew did a wonderful job on my move from the Financial District to Stuy Town. They were incredibly professional, very fast, and the guys all showed up with a smile — never complained or whined once, even when my bed frame didn’t fit into the elevator. They quickly dissembled and reassembled it in no time at all.
Communication with Adonis was great — he confirmed the week of and then the day before and was very responsive to my questions via email. He also didn’t protest when I had a few boxes more than I had originally estimated! Reasonably priced, extremely quick & nothing was damaged or broken. All and all a very smooth move! Will certainly use them again for my next move.

I moved this weekend and it wasn’t stressful. Let’s just let that marinate for a moment, shall we?
I hired Adonis to move me from NYC to Jersey City and I’ve been raving about it ever since. This guy knows a thing or two about how to get from point A to point B. What is normally a dreaded and exhausting day was quick, painless and hassle free.
Let’s rewind to the weeks leading up to the move. Adonis was extremely consultative and responsive to my emails, making sure to address any and all questions that came up. He gave me a very detailed breakdown of the cost — no rip offs here. I knew exactly what I would be paying for.
Over are the days of anxiously waiting for a moving truck that is two hours late. When him and the moving crew are on their way you’ll receive a link to open up an app called Glimpse. Through glimpse you can track where the truck is, hoo-​rah for technology!
Adonis and his two helpers had me in and out of my apartment in NYC and comfortably moved in to my new Jersey City abode in about 90 minutes. It takes me longer to pick out my outfit sometimes in the morning! (Well, not really… but you get the point) Moving is an arduous task but these guys have a smile on their face the entire time and make the process look effortless.
If I ever need to move again Adonis will be the first one I call (sorry mom!) because I couldn’t imagine doing it without him. Fair prices, transparency, efficiency and a smile. What more could you ask for?

My movers cancelled on me one day prior to the move. I was calling everyone trying to get help. Lucky for me someone cancelled on Adonis ten minutes prior to my call. His team is very good and easy going. He is extremely responsive, they got to me early and texted me a cool link letting me know where they were on the road.
About the move. I’m not going to lie. .it was long and hard because I moved from a six floor walk up. He got there with a team of 5. I was supposed to have a sixth person (friend of the family which cancelled on me the day of) and I informed Adonis and we reworked the money. The job took many hours because of the flights and due to the timing and being rushed by the trucking company I helped with the bringing things down the stairs and to the truck… The team was tired and they stayed there until the truck was closed. I did see them work tired and saw the tiredness get the best of some of them… and I do understand why. I paid them more than the agreed price because I felt that it was well deserved.
I didn’t realize how much work this would take due to the stairs… I’m grateful that it was his company that did this job. I will be sure to refer them all the time…
A special note. he brought a team member by the name of Elba. Any move is stressful, and this was a major move (darn stairs) and she was very reassuring, and calm. I thought that I was going to lose it and she calmly spoke to me and just told me not to worry about this, that it was her job. She gave me the human touch that I needed in the middle of chaos… The company is lucky to have her.
