Description

Specialties

Re-introducing ACME as a contemporary bistro, new executive chef & partner, Brian Loiacono, combines his Italian-American upbringing with his classic French training to create a seasonal neighborhood restaurant that showcases a variety of flavors and techniques, yet is quintessentially New York. Chef Brian Loiacono’s menu reflects his Italian heritage and years working with chef Daniel Boulud, most recently at db Bistro Moderne.

Located in the heart of Noho, ACME was opened in January 2012 by Jean-Marc Houmard and Huy Chi Le of Indochine and Tijuana Picnic, and Jon Neidich of The Happiest Hour in the space formerly occupied by the long-time Cajun mainstay ACME. While completely revamping the space and concept, the owners decided to keep the name and the façade, as a nod to the history of the neighborhood. In addition to 25 tables in the dining room, Acme has an eating bar and rail reserved for walk-in diners on a first-come, first-serve basis. In January 2016, they re-launched with a new culinary identity thanks to new chef & partner, Loiacono.
