Dr. Abramov performed surgery that has resulted in pain and feet that are in worse condition than they were pre-surgery. An irresponsible doctor

Dr. Abramow and Manhattan Podiatrists do additional surgeries that all other podiatrists that I have gone to after my surgery with Abramow (3 PODIATRISTS AND 2 ORTHOPEDIC SURGEONS) have said they WOULD NOT HAVE PERFORMED. But the more surgeries = more $$$.
I am still in physical therapy after 2 YEARS of surgery (s) and may never have a normal foot again.
I also know of 2 other patients that he performed additional, unnecessary surgeries and they, too, are not happy with the outcome. They are not comfortable to share their experiences on this forum. IF YOU VALUE YOUR FEET, GO TO ANOTHER PODIATRIST! COUNT YOURSELF WARNED.

Obviously the previous reviewer had a different experience but I think their judgement is unfair. Any surgery has the potential for post-op complications no matter how perfectly executed. Additionally, from my research and consultations it is standard of care to leave either a plate or pin in when correcting a bunion.
I found Dr. Abramow to be friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and forthcoming about everything involved in my surgery. I would recommend him to a friend, and have, already, done so.
I had my bunion surgery and, yes, hammertoe correction performed and have been healing wonderfully so far and I haven’t missed a day of work.
