Specialties
We’re now offering a 2 Hour Home Bartending Class! Learn techniques and recipes to impress your party guests or create some knock out night caps. Regularly $ 95, we’re offering a Yelp! Deal for just $ 49!
Looking for a certificate? We offer a full course fora flat fee of $ 395 including tuition, registration, text book, and job placement assistance. If you ever want to retake the class, as many times as you’d like, or if you just want to come in and practice, our facilities are available to you.
For over 30 years we have been successfully training bartenders to get them ready to join the workforce. Our staff of NY State licensed instructors (with a combined 50 years behind the bar!) teach students in tricks of the trade, liquor/beer/wine knowledge and sales, responsible alcohol service, and assist in resumes and job placement. Students will learn cocktails, both classic and new, in our hands-on bar/classroom during classes, and additional practice times are available.
History
Established in 1978.
ABC Bartending was founded by New York native and professional bartender Tony Sylvester while he was living in South Florida. In the ‘70s, Tony decided to use his twenty years behind the bar to open the first ABC Bartending School. Through a solid reputation for training new bartenders, he now owns schools in over 30 locations, opening a school in Manhattan in 2004.
