My wife and I hired Aaron Bollman & Company to do a gut renovation of our new loft in West Chelsea. It was a massive project as the loft is large (~3,700 sq ft) and hadn’t been lived in for several years — the scope encompassed a new bathroom added, all new electrical, new kitchen, renovated bathrooms, install central A/C, new deck, all new finishes, etc. Aaron and his crew did a wonderful job. The quality of the work was superb, and Aaron managed a difficult project (big scope, strict building, neighbors, etc) masterfully. Aaron and his crew are honest, candid, upfront and incredibly thorough. We are extremely pleased with him and his work. Highly recommended.

We first found AB&C on Unilocal and used them to renovate a bathroom of ours. The level of perfectionism was crazy, and our bathroom turned out great. We were traveling during the renovation and were pleasantly surprised when they emailed us to tell us they had found a few extra square feet of unused space behind some of the sheet rock and had put together a design for how to take advantage of it. Needless to say we were thrilled.
A year later, when it came time to renovate our kitchen, we turned to them again and were just as happy. It’s inevitable that mistakes get made in the course of construction, but with this crew, the head of the company becomes personally involved and makes sure that everything is 100% perfect by the time the job is done.
Tl;dr: We couldn’t believe how good these guys were and would use them for everything.

I needed my broken hallway door fixed and my sister used AB&Co (specifically, Aaron) to help out with her own apartment, so I took her stellar recommendation. Aron was a grade A (aron) professional from start to finish. Aaron, to start, is incredibly courteous, thoughtful, and extremely calm. He was accommodating to my needs and answered the dozens of questions I threw at him. He has a great passion for what he does and it really shows. He was the one who fixed my door. He was efficient and got the job done quickly, but was NOT sloppy about it. What stood out is that he took the time to really explain to me what he was doing and how he was fixing the door — he educated me on what he was doing instead of just doing the job sloppily, not saying anything and getting out there. I really appreciated that. The price was fair (cash/checks only) and I am very happy with his work. I can’t speak for the rest of the company since I only worked with Aaron, but I 100% recommend him to anybody!

My apartment’s nice, but the kitchen was always so gloomy and not friendly to hang out in. By word of mouth, a friend of mine who had their whole place redone totally snazzy, I was referred to Bollman & Co. I really wasn’t looking for a whole renovation, just a better kitchen. Not only did they install some very chic cabinets, (handpicked by Mr Bollman himself, who by the way is one the of nicest and professional guys I’ve ever met), but he suggested new floors for my kitchen and hallways. I went for it, and I don’t regret any of it. They were so thorough and clean with the installs, but they were also very timely, and as a busybody myself, I really appreciated that aspect. I finally feel at home in my kitchen.
