I don’t LOVEEE Artichoke but my friends do… so they got a pizza from there, and I decided to try this place out… I got tricked! I wish I just got a plain slice for $ 1…because for $ 2 extra you get pepperoni… $ 2 for pepperoni slices??? I should have just paid $ 5 for a huge slice of Artichoke!

Just to make things clear, only the cheese slices are $ 1 while topping pizza are around $ 4. You got me there, you sneaky bastards. I highly doubt the beers are $ 2 too, maybe the ones that are watered down. The pizzas are alright. It is what you expect when you stumble in at 2am. If it fills you up and you’re drunk, you’re happy.

Awesome cheap neighborhood pizza. Love the slogan $ 2 pizza for $ 1. The owner is an awesome guy. Great place for the late night munchies.

Kind of false advertising on the beer. $ 2 nets you an extremely shitty domestic like Coors in an 8oz water cup. Expect to pay a lot more for an acceptable beer and/or more of it. Pizza is of frozen quality. Not awful but I can get a much better slice for a buck just half a block away at Percy’s.

$ 1 slice ! What more could ya want. Not the best pizza I’ve had but for $ 1 it wasn’t bad. Only the plain pizza is $ 1 just to warn you.. Prob amazing when you’re drunk.

$ 1 cheese pizza and $ 2 beer, what do you expect, a little bit dry on the pizza, good for the munchies after drinking for the night

Great $ 1 pizza is NOT easy to find. But your getting close here. Thin crispy crust, good cheese tho a bit light on the sauce. Yes, there’s only ONE Bleeker street pizza but until my startup launches I’m thrilled to have found this place.

The pizza is not terrible. The crust is a little bit on the dry side. As expected there is no free grated cheese. Only cheese pizza is one dollar bill; everything else is substantially more expensive(spinach slice being $ 4). So basically, the only bargain is the cheese slice; everything else is pretty much market rate. Furthermore, the beer is now $ 3 and the only one available for that price is Bud Light. Everything else costs $ 4 or $ 5 now. So again, there is only a bargain if you are content with getting terrible beer(which is exactly what you should have expected). That said, $ 4 Yuengling is not a terrible deal. They also have a TV, so you can watch that. Still a better option to get tanked in than Off The Wagon, though I wouldn’t suggest either.

Pizza is surprisingly good, and there’s better beer for $ 4 instead of the cheap stuff for $ 2. Yes, I acknowledge that I will eat $ 1 pizza and not drink $ 2 beer. I am total hypocrite. Still, this place is awesome, and I will happily stumble in here the next time I’m down in the village.

I love $ 1 pizza $ 2 beer. It’s a perfect place to hit before going to your favorite bar or bar hoping. The name is a bit misleading as only one of the beer options is $ 2 but at least the others are all under $ 5 which is more than a bargain in ny. PS. Have somewhere to sit in Mind because they only seat 10 and that’s being generous. They’re usually ok with you taking your beer if they’re full.

Live in the neighborhood and used to frequent this spot for a slice(or three). The recent change of owners has me headin back over to Percys on Bleeker. Really poor customer service and quality of the slice and ingredients has worsened. Also, it’d be nice if you wore some gloves or something when you touch my slice, dude.

$ 1 Pizza — Regular cheese slice. Sprinkle oregano, garlic and pepper powder and you’re golden. $ 2 Beer — Samuel Adams in a can? I’ve never seen this before, but its cheap and pretty good to wash down that cheese slice. Service fast, pizza warm, and get a meal for less than $ 3. CHEAP! Enough said.

For a Buck a Pop on the Pizza, this is place is pretty dam good. Much better than $ 1.00 Pizza Bros. a block away on 6th Ave … I pop in here when I need something good and cheap to hold me over in-between meals. This Pizza always does the trick, and with $ 2 and $ 3 Beers, «The Prices Just Can’t Be Beat.» Ot’s a winner!

I guess since we created it I should break the ice with a review. I’ve walked past this spot before so I’m shocked there was no check-in available. Mostly the $ 2 beer sign always was an allurement. Though, I have to warn you, it is only for Coors. .. and it comes in a plastic cup.. .. . I love how they state on their door«We sell craft beer!» Okay.. . they DID have Sam Adams summer ale and it came out of a can, which I’ve never had before. Those cans of beer are $ 3. Still cheap, you are getting a $ worth of food. The pizza? It has a pretty durable crisp thin bread layer, decent cheese, not a lot of sauce. It’s about on par with 2 Bros(maybe not quite as good as them) and hey you can have your cheap gross beer here while you eat your dollar slice, so why the hell not. $ 1 Pizza/$ 2 Beer you are a-okay!

I’ve walked by this place a few times while on my way to the West 4th train station and I’ve always been curious since their mission statement is made super clear by loud, redundant signage exclaiming, «$ 1PIZZA!!!», $ 2BEERS!!!”. This is a tough deal to beat considering that one can walk in here and pretty much purchase a full meal with only $ 3. This past Saturday afternoon Ingrid S. and I were walking by with not completely empty bellies… but in search of something small… like a slice of pizza small… having remembered this place exists just as we turned on to this block we both agreed that a $ 3 brunch/lunch was in order, lol. It ended up being a $ 4 meal since we both went for Sam Addams Summer Ale since the $ 2 option was only Coors Light(aka water). The pizza was pretty decent. Fantastic cheese to sauce ratio although the sauce was pretty bland, I thought the cheese made up for it big time as it tasted fresh and was clearly a very recently made pie. After ordering it and making our selves at home at one of their modestly sized tables, the 1 one guy on duty brought us out slices and then made a second trip to make sure we got napkins. I thought that was nice of him as we weren’t the only people there and he didn’t have any coverage up front. Good customer service on his part, cheap decent pizza and cheap I’ve cold beer in cans(upon my first sip I exclaimed that my Sam Summer tasted way better than it sometimes does on draft, GOCANS!!!) made for a solid 4 star experience.
