King Cake seems to come in every edible form possible in New Orleans. Right now at the PJ’s in a CBD hotel, they’re on special as a latte creation. As a first-time NOLA visitor who hadn’t heard of King Cake before the trip, I couldn’t resist the splurge. Service wasn’t exceptionally friendly, but the latte was made quickly and piping hot. It took me quite a while of staring at it before I could take a sip… and I still scalded myself, so be careful! Once it cooled down a bit, it was much easier to consume. And much tastier! It does absolutely resemble a King Cake in flavor, so if you want to drink one, head here for the caffeinated, nonalcoholic version!

The coffee taste great and the price is like Starbucks. I am still a Starbucks lover, but they did make a good caramel macchiato

This diminutive coffee shop in the lobby of the Royal St. Charles Hotel serves very good coffee for a decent price. The shop itself only has a handful of tables but it is a good spot to take a breather to enjoy a java when there are seats available. There are also a few treats available to go with your coffee. I stayed with the dark roast coffee on my visit and was quite happy with it. If you are looking for a coffee when you are in the French Quarter or CBD, this is a good bet.

This was a small shop inside an office building and hotel. A short walk from my hotel and I came in for a drink to tide me over for the commute. The barista was very quick and friendly. She apologized for a delay in helping me since a man wouldn’t stop talking to her. My coffee was hot and tasty and I have no complaints! :)

Cool joint inside the hotel with lots of windows to people watch the busy street outside. The coffee is pure NOLA, visit this place before you visit the large standard. You will be happy.

Filthy! The floor looks like it has not been swept in week. Workers behind the counter enjoy their coffee and their phones. How about they clean the place up a bit?

Standard coffee joint. A little too much ice in my iced latte. Good coffee and good vibe.

Consumed a couple frozen blended granita drinks with words I’ve never associated with coffee before, wedding cake. It was soooo good! Admired a tshirt with the saying brew dat, chocolate crawfish. We visited 3 or 4 locations of this chain and always got good drinks, and scones, i’m partial to the cinnamon and wifey loves the lemon. There was one barista covering the register and making all the drinks, this dude was getting it done.

It’s OK if it’s close by, but I much prefer Starbucks. I’m not even a huge Starbucks fan. I’m from out of town and was looking for something different. The cappuccino was burnt tasting and croissant was very buttery(which can be a positive).

Fresh local coffee. Croissant. Clean and nice. Friendly staff. I have stopped here many times when in the neighborhood. Right at the streetcar stop. Hmmmm… wrong picture though; sorry.

Nice place to wait for the trolley, great snacks and coffees, the service staff is nice and they have a great selection of pastries as well. I’ll be back every time I’m passing by.

Awesome location! The actual PJ’s is in the Royal St. Charles Hotel. They do not own the WiFi, The hotel owns and provides it under«Royal WiFi». Or in cases you can receive the signal from Courtyard on the riverside of St. Charles if you sit along the windows on the St. Charles side. Onto Coffee and beverages: They’re simply awesome and amazing. I love that PJ’s is the local folks. And no matter how awesome and inviting Starbucks is they are the National chain, and often get extremely busy so either as first and primary choice or a backup you can NEVER go wrong in here! The staff and baristas are friendly, warm, and amazing!!! It’s a sin not to come on in and support the locals for the visitors and locals alike. I also love the brand new rewards program! I can’t say enough about how proud I am of this location and the local establishment! Les bon temps roule!

Great place, conveniently located in downtown New Orleans. Great coffee, friendly service, and super quick. There’s a competing Starbucks at the other end of the block, but really, there’s no competition! This place is great!

The coffee was excellent and service was speedy. My only recommendation is that the coworkers of the red head young lady with spacers in her ears tell her to not respond to a $ 1 tip for two coffees with«a buck?». If I was sharing tips with this young lady I would want her to refrain from this kind of response when given a 25% tip for doing nothing more than pouring two coffees and putting money in a drawer.

I loved PJs coffee. They had fast service but I wish they had fruit for sale. A fresh fruit cup or even an apple would have improved my experience.

We visited from California! Lets just say I wish this place was on the west coast! I would take this place over starbucks and peets! The guys that work at this place are awesome! Some complaining jerk ordered before us and they gave them a large on accident and they ordered a small. They didnt want the large for whatever reason at the same price so the guy gave it to me for free. I thought that was awesome. Love New Orleans!

This is a great PJs coffee establishment. It’s well located right in the central business district just walking distance from shopping, hotels and the French quarter. The service here is very friendly and fast. The adjacent hotel lobby is colorful and inviting with plush seating an large screen tv’s. It also helps that in this 110 degree weather and swamp like humidity this establishment is kept at a cool 65 degree temp. I could use a sweater right now but I am certainly not complaining :-)

Feels like a chain. I got the iced coffee, looks like they put a little hazelut in it, which isn’t that special, but not bad. Better than Starbucks IMHO though :)
