Nola Clutter Busters

Unfortunately my experience with Tami was pretty bad — and I didn’t even get to the point of actually using her service.
On June 18 I texted her, per her instructions on the website, to see if she was interested in helping me unpack from a move, purge several items, decorate and so on. A big job in other words and one I wanted to start ASAP.
She replied later that day saying that was her specialty and that she would get back to me shortly. She was very enthusiastic (for a text) and I stopped looking for a service provider.
Four days pass and I don’t hear anything from her. On June 22 I texted her a note saying it appeared she was not taking the job and her sending me a response along those lines would have been the professional thing to do. I told her that was four days I could have been looking for someone else that I wasn’t. I told her a little courtesy goes along way.
She responded with that she was booked for two months, sorry for the delay and good luck.
I responded she could have said that upfront and I felt I had dodged a bullet with her lack of professionalism.
She responded «Thank you!»
And I responded «You are welcome» and «Stay tuned for the reviews.»
And so here I am. All this is FYI for anyone who is looking for a home organizer who is, well, organized enough to respond in a timely manner and polite enough to respect prospective clients’ time.

She has been a professional organizer and interior designer at NOLA Clutter Busters for almost over two decades. I have worked as an assistant to her on multiple projects, and I always come away with having learned more than when I started.
She’s kick-​ass, super fast, and amazing at her job. Tami’s personality and creativity is absolutely infectious. Her tireless dedication to helping others re-​evaluate their lives and their stuff is nothing short of awe-​inspiring.
Her designer’s eye, therapeutic approach, and incredible spatial ability are a triple-​threat. She is one of the best organizers operating in the US today. DO NOT pass up an opportunity to work with this tour-​de-​force!

Tami is so great. She quickly diagnoses the problem (in like 5 or 10 minutes) and provides the catalytic spark to get things done. She’s clear about what needs to happen, willing and able to get her hands dirty in an attic, or carrying furniture, installing art on the walls, and suggesting/​building systems to keep you organized once she leaves. She has come twice now and each time has been a true evolution in how we keep our home.
