How are we different from other walking tour companies? 1) Our tours are adults only. 2) Small groups. Always. 3) We have only one guide, the one you are reading about in these reviews, so you know his work is approved by others like you. 4) Two out of our three tours include an alcoholic beverage. 5) We specialize in intimate custom tours, including Bachelor and Bachelorette parties, with private booking pages that you can personalize with your own photos and text. 6) We have exclusive access into one-​of-​a-​kind, behind-​the-​scenes locations.

At New Orleans Streetwalkers Tours, we believe that the best way to experience our singular culture on a tour is to do so in intimate groups with a licensed, passionate guide who reveres accurate history learned through respected books, continuing education, archival research and interviews with the owners of visited locations and their peers, not through hearsay cribbed from other guides or what is legend on the streets.

A tour company should excel at four things: accurate history, entertainment, good advice and great customer service. We strive honestly to deliver them all.

History

Established in 2012.

It can be argued with authority (and has been) that the city of New Orleans was founded, literally, on the backs of criminals and prostitutes. Our name, New Orleans Streetwalkers Tours, is a nudge-​and-​a-​wink reference to this history intended as a fun send up of precisely what we do: provide entertaining and historically accurate owner-​operated walking tours of New Orleans for adults that usually include an alcoholic beverage, colorful language and groups that are (almost always!) maxed out at 12 guests. Almost Always! means that officially we book no more than 12 people per tour but if a guest arrives with a friend or two – for instance – they are welcome to come along. We keep our tours intimate and never allow the number of guests to endanger that.

Who Dat?! As the owner of New Orleans Streetwalkers Tours and your Tour Guide, I am a 20+ year veteran, worldwide, of the tourism industry. I am also a cocktail aficionado and foodie (read: fanatic!) and have been a professional writer and photographer in both the spirits and travel industries. History is my passion. And if ever a town embodies this passion, it’s New Orleans, a city that is born from the crucible of its ever-​present past, offering genuinely unique experiences: history, hauntings, architecture, cocktails, Creole and Cajun cuisines and jazz. It is a genuine pleasure to meet guests from all over the world and turn them on to a city truly like no other. I am a proud New Orleanian and I would not live anywhere else.
