Description

Specialties

We have been in business since 1957 and it is important to me that we continuously improve. Fashion and beauty change semi-annually.

The classics are steady and the fads come and go. They will always be hip, fun, and exciting, but all the really matters is what looks and feels best on each and every client.

«It takes Teamwork for any of us to succeed as individuals.”-John Jay

History

Established in 1957.

John learned the trade from his family. His maternal grandfather was a barber and when he had learned all he could from his grandfather, he went to his mother

for her expertise.

John Jay was one of the first hairdressers to manufacture his own products and to use videos as an educational tool. When I inquired about that, he stated, «Products at that time were not useful, so I helped guide the chemists to produce products of need.» In addition to developing his own hair products and educational videos, Mr. Jay also designed the hair roller.
