We provide quality care for your pets in the comfort of your home. This is particularly helpful with oversized pets, multiple pets, cats, and senior pets that have trouble getting in and out of vehicles. It is very convenient for busy people who don’t have time to sit in a doctor’s office waiting to be seen. You can relax in your home until we arrive to care for your «babies». We also see pocket pets, which include rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, mice, rats, and gerbils. In addition, we provide ‘at home’ euthanasia so that you and your pet avoid the stress of a noisy clinic during a very difficult time.
History
Established in 2008.
Our practice was started after the frustration of working at other veterinary practices where each patient was given only a 15 minute appointment. In that time the doctor is supposed to examine the pet, discuss any problems, diagnose the problem, formulate a treatment plan, and discuss how to prevent the problem in the future. That is often not enough time! In addition, frequently the practice owner has the underlying motive of trying to generate maximum profit for the clinic at the owner and the patient’s expense. We, however, put the patient first. We make treatment recommendations based on what we would do for our own pets. We treat pet owners the way that we want to be treated. People and pets are not just a number to us. We spend more time treating problems, and most importantly, helping you to prevent problems in the future. We really care about our patients and their owners.

Business Owner
Dr. Doskey did her undergraduate and her doctorate work at LSU, Baton Rouge, La. She graduate from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She has spent her veterinary career treating small animals (dogs and cats) and exotics (ferrets, rabbits and rodents). She manages both internal medicine and surgical cases. Our focus is the compassionate care of pets in the metro New Orleans area. We enjoy getting to know our patients and their parents.
