Went here to get gas and it said please see cashier when I swiped card. went up to the window he asked for my card & ID then let me fill up while he kept those items with him (which had me curious at this point why he would need my ID and why he had to keep my card). my bank found they tried to make an over $ 100 charge on my card which obviously wasn’t me. don’t go here.

Car wash is nice.
Gas is often very foamy and it takes forever to fill up.

Today for the first time I went into the store and dealt with the young man who is the attendant. My credit card failed to swipe at the pump. Device on pump advised me to see the cashier. The young man was lost and did not understand my native language. Pamela T’s review is right on point with this day attendant.
To obtain gasoline for my vehicle he wanted me to leave my credit card and he placed it on the cash register. The card was within easy reach of anyone and everyone in the store at the counter. I politely reached over and retrieved my card and left the station. In New Orleans restaurants, bars, auto part stores and gasoline stations are not difficult to find.
A short time later my card was swiped successfully at Rouse’s.

Generally wouldn’t review a gas station, But! We go here Often, and I mean Daily. Normally we have No problems, But the younger guy that is working the morning shift is just Too much! Today was the third time in the past month that his rudeness & nasty attitude was blatantly overboard. I get the distinct feeling he has a problem with women and people of color (after an conversation with an older black man from the neighborhood who had the same experience with this kid). I do NOT recommend spending your hard earned money here.

I was here the other day just to buy some air for my tires. A short wait ahead of us as the gentleman before us was just finishing up. Just enough of his air left over for one tire. Then air runs out as we are dilly dallying trying to get the caps off the stem valves. That’s OK its only fifty cents for 2 or three minutes, I forgot. We finish the job, make everything is just right, all caps returned and we notice I super impatient woman behind us. (Read toe tapping and wrist-​watching) Like ghetto impatient. We had just finished putting the hose back and our selves back into the car, barely seat belted in when she grabs the hose (note: her car is still behind ours), and starts pulling it toward her tires, stretching it as far as far as its rubber can go. Needless to say, it doesn’t and she gets all pissy when the air from our coins runs out, and she has to put more money in, and of course, move her car closer to the source of the air. We see all of this happening before we are ½ way out the parking area. So, I have got to give Chevron 4 stars again for the entertainment that I wouldn’t have otherwise had if I went elsewhere for air. This guest of Chevron was so comical, unknown to neither my husband or me, but we thank her and Chevron for bringing us a moment of crazy levity at the expense of another, all for the price of a minute of air…

I stop here at least once a day. The gas is a little higher than if you drive up Carrollton to the Magnolia discount, but I hate going to the Magnolia discount. I always get «holla’d at, generally dont feel safe, and Magnolia is just pretty ghetto.

No one tries to talk to me at the chevron, aside from the random people I know from my hood, it’s well lit, and I never feel unsafe here.
It is probably because they dont sell booze and lotto tickets.
What they do have is a surprisingly good selection of Vitamin Waters, those really sweet drinks with chunks of aloe in them, and sometimes they have a pretty good selection of bottled teas, not Lipton, but fancy stuff. The tea is kinda random in it’s availability.
I know all the guys that work there since I come in so much. They are all very nice, polite and not your typical «I hate my job and I’m a big dummy in general» attitude you get at most convenience/​gas stations. They are all smart, funny and somewhat efficient.
