Casual American food with a Louisiana twist. Very much a local lunch spot for the downtown work force. Lunch severed all afternoon. Daily chalk board specials that are local favorites. Saturday and Sunday Brunch. Reasonably priced wines, beer and cocktails. Full service catering.
History
Established in 2009.
This is the second of five locations in New Orleans that locals David Smith and Doug Hary opened after the success of their Between the Bread location just down the block. David grew up in the restaurant business and still owns his family’s great American Road House South of the Border outside of St. Francisville, LA near the Mississippi state line. Doug is from Chicago and has lived in New Orleans for over ten years.
