Nice family restaurant to stop by and have a good meal. Right off the expressway great stop for travelers to grab a hearty big portion meal.

It’s bad food and bad service. Needs better management. Dont sit in the bat area as it is now just for drinking and gambling.

I should have walked out after my garden salad had a hair in it, but we didn’t we stayed. My medium rare steak was rare on one half and medium on the other… the veggies were legit frozen vegetables so blan and squishy, the mashed potatoes were so unbelievably dry and that was just my meal. My fiancé had fish tacos. They consisted of cut up fish sticks(not exaggerating!) with ranch and cheese. So he took two bites and that was it. I finished my steak which was ok but was super super grisly. It wasn’t a $ 25 ribeye ot was more like a $ 5 ribeye from Walmart. I’m not sure who in the hell think this place is good but they are seriously delusional. The bread was the only good thing everything else was disgusting.

We used to come to this family restaurant ALL the time. Until they turned their entire TV area into over 21. My husband loves sports and it was one place where we could go as a family that wasn’t just a sports bar. Now we have to resort to going back to sports bars as a family instead of being able to enjoy a meal together that had real food-not the bar food/snacks/burgers/wings that other places offer. SUCH a shame!

Sushi rolls are great. And check out the Godzilla roll! Service was very friendly. I didn’t give it 5 stars because we felt the chicken teriyaki didn’t have as much flavor cooked into the chicken as we would have liked. But overall a great place!

Restaurant is by far the best in the area, won’t find better food for the buck, people are friendly, restaurant is always clean and atmosphere is inviting, our friends from the north side of Chicago enjoy your steak night, now that’s a two hour drive for dinner, what does that tell you? Keep up the great work you do!!!

The food is only ok but the service is quite often horrible. My husband loves this place so I find myself here more than I would like. A couple of the waitresses have been friendly, but most act like I’m bothering them to be there in the first place. If you work in the service industry, ditch the attitude.

Went there for the 12.99 Monday night steak special. It was better than most high end/priced places in the area. Will definitely go back!

Tired to give them our business for 25 or more people for a Sunday, and they won’t let us order off regular menu and instead trying to get us to book a room with there $ 18.95 per person deal… ummmm…now why would we want to do that with kids there to… they won’t eat that much. They just lost business because of this!!! Now what if it was only 24 people then what… that’s okay we will take our money else where!!!

The food was excellent. The décor is dated. The atmosphere wasn’t great. I felt like an old person eating there. They need to spice up the décor.

They have good steaks but the side vegetables are awful think they charge enough to use fresh instead of frozen that have probably sitting around the whole day. Last couple times this place has gone down hill my son ordered mac and cheese I was awful how can you mess up mac and cheese twice because he sent it back once.

We had a group dinner here. In order to have a private room, we were charged $ 18.95 per person 25 times plus tax and tips, even there were only 22 of us. It was expensive for what we have. They didn’t give us bread/butter and coffee/tea which were on the list. Food tasted good and Room were well decorated but little tired.

Good Food, Good Service & nice atmosphere. I had the Philly steak, fries and chicken gumbo soup. The soup was good. I really liked the fries, they were good and crispy. The Philly steak sandwich was really large and I could not finish it. Sandwich was really good, not a traditional Philly more of a steak sandwich with the same toppings you would get on a Philly. Sandwich also came with an Au Jus. Our server informed us that it was only his second night but I think he did a good job. I would be very happy to have him wait on us anytime and appreciate him letting us know he was new.

GETTHECARROTCAKE! It is amaaaazing! Even if you are stuffed, get the carrot cake to-go! They give you a huge slice so it will last you a day or two. Or you could share, but trust you will not want to! I also love their bread with the honey butter! They have GREAT service as I always come with a very large department group. Never a long wait and our waitresses are always pleasant! Their entrée’s that I have tried are just«okay»(fried shrimp, jambalaya pasta, NY strip steak sandwich) But I will ALWAYS stop in for that carrot cake!

This is a little gem that is not well-known! They have great food and great service. I ordered the fajitas, and my hubby ordered the barbecue combo. Fajita veggies were a bit more well done than I’d like and the BBQ chix was a tad bit overdone so minus one star but really overall a good place! Our son got the spaghetti with the seafood. It was really good. We all had lunch the next day with leftovers! They have weekly specials and really nice sized portions. They come out with this lovely bread that is to die for!!!

After a long winter working on house rehab, my husband and I planned a date night. There were a few hiccups and cancellations-but we were finally able to catch a movie and go out to a nice dinner. I had my dinner planned for months… Surf and Turf. Friday night, of course it’s a little busy but we were seated immediately. I ordered a Dirty Martini. We weren’t offered appetizers-but I get it… it’s busy-no biggie. I ordered the meal I had been planning for months-mouth watering lobster tail, rare-blue cheese crusted steak with fries, steamed veggies and salad. My husband ordered the 18oz NY strip medium rare with fries. Food came and looked beautiful, absolutely calendar worthy. Where’s the big butt? my husband’s steak was under-cooked and so chewy he would chew it to get the flavor-but was unable to swallow. My steak was blue cheese crusted AFTER it was covered in a very salty thick brown gravy. Yep… I said brown gravy-like what is put on mashed potatoes-except this was NOT homemade yummy gravy-this was a salty, thick, coagulated pool of brown gel. The lobster tail was so over-cooked it was like lobster-jerky. I’m certain the mixed vegetables were microwaved from a frozen«steamable bag» because some of my cauliflower was frozen. I wanted to cry. We were neglected by our server, Colleen… because the staff was over worked-no fault of hers-she is one person. She was so apologetic I felt terrible for her-because she was apologizing for everyone else’s mistake and the food. Tonight’s romantic dinner was one disappointment after another-then we were served with the check…$ 53.00 for«market price» Surf and Turf for a grand total of $ 104.00 for two entrees and one martini(the martini wasn’t bad-but the bartender left ice in it). I wanted a romantic dinner to remember, instead I got one I can’t forget.

I really want to love this place… I have been here a couple of times now. It is a favorite place for the boy’s family and they frequent it. I got the same thing twice… That was my mistake! I thought it would be better! I think I have come to the determination that it’s more of a place of the older generation or it’s something out of the 60s or even 50s(though it’s a relatively young place). The dishes are aged and need to be updated or revived or something… Here’s what I had both times I’ve been and what the boy had on our last visit: 14 oz Prime Rib Dinner with baked potato and steamed veggies… I was in the mood for a steak! I think I should have gone for the filet because the prime rib just wasn’t trimmed enough. It tasted good but I really had to work for my dinner with all of the gristle and cartilage. The steamed veggies were really over cooked. They didn’t have any seasoning on them, so they were pretty bland. Parmesan Chicken Focaccia with french fries… This butterflied double breasted chicken was so big that it created an open faced sammich vs. something on a bun. It took up the whole plate! It was at least 8″ in diameter if not bigger! The boy loved it and barely ate half of his dinner! We were eating leftover, for sure! I’m giving 3 stars for the boys love of his food and the service from our waitress. I am disappointed in the quality of my prime rib and veggies though(on two occasions). I know I’ll be back here again with his family and I hope it will improve!
