Love this spot. It’s usually open until 1:30AM, so it’s the perfect spot to go out with friends late at night for a quick froyo/soft serve fix. I usually get tart, vanilla, lychee, or mango.

The quality of the yogurt isn’t the same it used to be two years ago. It’s extremely frozen and doesn’t have the right consistency. It’s almost comes out like chunks of ice.

I love the bubble tea here but I have a fondness for taro bubble tea and am never disappointed(large for $ 3.50). Today I tried their large taro oreo smoothie which is made with their own frozen yogurt($ 5) while their rich sound system blasted EDM remixes of popular songs in the background and I think I’m in love. Which is just to reciprocate the love the cool Latin dude put into making my smoothie and all that frozen yogurt he put into it.

Can’t speak for the Bubble Tea because I, unfortunately, did not try it but I did try the frozen yogurt. I got the Kiwi yogurt & Taro yogurt. Taro has always been my favorite and it was quite good. The Kiwi yogurt did not taste as good and I barely touched the one. I also topped all my yogurt with sprinkles, LOTS of mochi and gummy bears which were all delicious. The service here was very friendly and helpful. This place wouldn’t be in my favorite of all yogurt shops I tried but it’s good and I’d be back to try some more.

We came here a few years ago when my favorite bubble tea spot Hokkaido was closed for the evening. Ever since, we have come here after Rutgers Day. The yogurt is delicious, made fresh. You can really taste the natural fruit flavors unlike other yogurt places that have an artificial flavor. The toppings are varied, they even have condensed milk which most yogurt places don’t have. shout out to my fellow Latinos, you know who you are. putting Leche condensada in and on almost every dessert. So it’s a yogurt place but it makes great bubble tea. This place has what no other bubble tea spot has, hot bubble tea! Try the Thai Milk tea or the Vanilla Latte tea. both with tapioca balls and both delicious! The only downfall is that the entrance has steps and a ramp but the ramp is crazy steep. Also it gets very busy and crowded.

I stopped here a few weeks back to try some bubble tea and I probably should have tried the frozen yogurt instead. The bubble tea was fine(boba were firm), but I’ve had better and I should have known since it’s a yogurt place. I might try to the yogurt sometime, but I won’t be trying the bubble tea again.

There are a lot of items that I do NOT like at Truly Yogurt– like their bubble tea and shaved ice. I do like their frozen yogurt, but more so because there isn’t a frozen yogurt place closer to campus. I will admit that the frozen yogurt is tasty and they have a few different flavors though. They also have a few toppings, but a lot of the fruit toppings do not look as fresh as I would like. I’d go here for their froyo, but wouldn’t go out of the way to come here.

I just tried their velvet blue yogurt flavor. My wife and I now have stomach aches. I think the yogurt went bad. It tasted weird. When I walked in I was thinking lets go to 16 handles, but my friend was like lets stay here. I am certainly regretting that right now. I would be very cautious when eating and drinking from this place.

So i came to this place to get bubbletea, the worker was rude, didn’t understand english, not that it matters. I asked for a cookies & cream bubbletea and all i got was a hot chocolate drink. It was gross and warm. I couldve made this at home. I will never come back again.

I guess I shouldnt have come to a place called truly yogurt for bubble tea. The extra star is for the hispanic homie behind the counter who kept it cool while the place was busy Tea/milk tea was so weird tasting, almost powdery, overly sweet and artificial tasting… not that the milk teas are ever not artificial but this one was just BAM in your face. Boba was mushy and sticky. Kind of gross actually. Caramel pudding wasnt the soft pudding you should have in your teas… it was actually kind of tooooo formed. Kind of like an overcooked egg custard. 0⁄5 for teas. 1 star because I bet their yogurt is good, and 1 star for the service. 0⁄2 for bubble teas in the area! I’ll keep on searching!

I love this place but it’s bad business to have the only two employees working to be working on the same large drink order while you have a long line of people waiting to pay for just yogurt.

I like this place, but if you’re into basic froyo flavors, you may want to steer clear. You won’t find(Insert Fruit Here) flavor or(Insert Fruit Here) flavor. You come here for Mulberry or Toro or Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious flavor. They have two different sized cups, which is awesome… makes it easier for you to contain yourself, no pun intended. I dunno, was there a pun? The toppings are good and it’s attached to a pizza place if you want dessert. They also have outdoor seating in the back. I took advantage of that once. They had some rap music playing… felt out of character, but made me smile. What did not make me smile was the possum and the rat that were back there. It was around 9:00PM –10:15PM. They didn’t bother anyone, and it’s an urban area, so whatever… and no one else saw them but me and I wasn’t going to make a big deal about it… again, urban area. But yeah, if you want out of the ordinary froyo, this spot hits the spot.

I went here with my gf for a yummy Sunday evening treat. It was 9pm and I appreciated that they were open. I ordered a blueberry bubble tea, and she got a mango bubble tea. The first problem was the place was SUPER hot. You would think an ice creamery would at least have the air conditioning on. Strike one. The bubble tea took over 20 minutes for the server to make. There were a couple of people in front of us, but it wasn’t unreasonably crowded. Waiting 20 mins for a bubble tea is crazy. Strike 2. When I finally got my tea, it was undrinkable. It tastes like a cup full of syrup. My gf didn’t like hers either and said it tasted too much like powdered milk. They were both pretty sad. I won’t be back. Strike 3. : /

3.5 stars! Finally checked out this place since I was craving fro-yo. Street parking is tricky, especially when RU is in session, but if you’re walking or biking, no problems there. The yogurt shop isn’t anything spectacular and their toppings bar is OK. They have a few flavors of yogurt/swirl, but not as big as others. I chose taro flavor and topped it with mochi(!!!) and other stuff that caught my eye. It cost a little over $ 5 as they charge per weight. I’d probably be back as I like to support local New Brunswick establishments, most likely during the summer. Not sure about the bubble tea. That’s what I’s Café is for! Also, I think that there is a $ 5 credit credit minimum purchase, fyi.

One of my favorite hangout spots was HERE! I have to say that froyo is no longer as popular as it was a few years ago, but I still enjoy it once in a while! Fruity yogurt is one of the few spots that offer bubble tea as well as froyo, which is AWESOME! Sometimes my friends and I are craving for something sweet, but I want bubble tea and she froyo. Here is the place we will go! They offer a huge variety of flavors, and they are usually pretty consistent with their flavors and tapioca chewiness! Plus, if you want to add protein whey, it’s only an extra $ 1. Even though their competitors I’s and Hokkaido provide seating, the space area are more limited while this one offers a lot more seating! Not only does it have two tables in the shop, they also share seating with their next door neighbor(pizzeria) and have outdoor seating! Yeah, definitely check out their outdoor seating during the warmer days! It is very soothing and calming! The air is nice and peaceful! Perfect for yourself if you want alone time or a catch up session with your friends! It usually doesn’t get too packed since a lot of people grab and go!

This place is one of the older fro-yo establishments in New Brunswick and there is consistent quality. There are always tons of options for toppings and flavors and the bar of options is pretty well stocked and fresh looking. This location also makes some great bubble tea, for a reasonable price of $ 3.50 a cup. The location is very bright and colorful altho with limited seating. They do have some outdoor seating in warmer weather, but be aware that’s it’s located in a busy intersection.

This is a cute little spot with lots of flavors. Most of the flavors are good, a few are a little too sweet. The toppings bar is also mostly good, though some of the fruit look a tad too syruppy, and the granola is a bit too chunky. The prices are fair, and the place is clean. There isn’t a lot of space, but it’s never too crowded, so if you want to take a seat, it’s possible, and you don’t have to wait forever to get your froyo on.

I came just to satisfy my regular froyo/ice cream craving. I came here and got a fruity flavored froyo with all the different types of pops they have such as lychee, mango, strawberry, and passion fruit. I love the flavorful asian flavors here. Also there are a few nice chairs in the front to sit and relax while eating froyo. The environment is happy and colorful. it just makes me happy coming here!

I come here too often in the spring/summer. Of all the froyo places in NB now(and there are quite a few), this one tops them all. Red Mango &16 Handles come next. And trust me, I’ve had them all. The reason I like their froyo best is because of all the Asian flavors. Taro is my long time fave. For a limited time, they had white peach lychee which was delish and so refreshing. Please come back with your white peach lychee! Also, there’s no other froyo places that have POP as a topping! Yum. There’s also outdoor seating in the front and in the back. My complaint about the back area is no exposure to sunlight. The staff here is friendly and they have a frequent customer card buy 9 get 1 free. $ 5 minimum on cards.

6 different kinds of jellys/pop tapiocas on my frozen yogurt? I’m there. The fruit didn’t look especially fresh but it was still edible. It is winter after all. Seating is limited inside but they also have outdoor seating. Oh, and they don’t uncomfortably hover over you when you try their yogurts with the free sample cups. *$ 5 minimum on card as of now.
