Princeton House Outpatient

Ugh! thats what I think of Princeton House. I was discharged from Carrier Clinic last year and I first went to Princeton House. The staff is as rude as can be and this one woman Arlene really needs to calm down. All she does is walk around and bark orders at the patients and the staff. I signed up for art therapy and she crossed my name of the list!!! I was kicked out within 2 weeks of being there for a reason I would not like to share but they were extremely nasty about it. When I went to GenPsych PC in Bridgewater, soo much better. If your looking for an outpatient program. Steer clear and go to GenPsych.

I would not recommend this place. My father was there as a recovering alcoholic. I was listed as an emergency contact. When I called to just say hello to him they told me there was an incident and he signed himself out after telling off the staff. He did not have money or his credit cards and the location isn’t central. At no point did anyone think to contact me to let me know he left. They said It’s his prerogative but I am his emergency contact and they obviously told me when I called so it’s not like they couldn’t release the info.
The problem is they run the place like a prison, you cannot freely walk around and they tell you when and where to smoke, sleep, and eat. I understand they need structure but they don’t need to feel like they’re in prison! When I went to visit him, I felt really uncomfortable too. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy to be perfectly honest.
