Chris Doehrmann Architect is a Twin Cities Based Residential Architecture Studio. Our mission is to create beautiful and well crafted houses that uniquely reflect the people who call them home.

Chris has designed homes, cabins, lake homes, remodeling projects, renovations and additions throughout Minnesota, the Twin Cities Metro Area, Arden Hills, Edina, Gem Lake, White Bear Lake, Minneapolis, St. Paul, up North in Minnesota & Wisconsin and South in Des Moines, Mason City, and Pella, Iowa, as well as in Montana.

History

Established in 1991.

Chris Doehrmann Architect, Inc. was founded in 1991 with the idea that residential architecture is more about the individual client than the architect they hire. For us residential architecture is not simply a diversion from commercial work. It is our focus, and our passion.

Business Owner

Through the years working on all types of projects with all kinds of people, Chris has seen it all. He’s seen the problems. He’s heard the questions. He’s dealt with the difficulties and he’s seen the excitement on clients’ faces when they see their dreams for home come true.

But most of all he just enjoys interacting with people; helping them find answers to their questions and finding solutions to their problems. He’s like a friend who knows a whole lot about home design, construction and construction products.

Chris graduated from Iowa State University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and in 1985 with a Bachelor of Architecture. Chris was registered in 1989 and is currently licensed in Minnesota.
