Nails and Spa

I went on Sunday-​the bald gentleman completed my nails (fill and gel polish). I told him my thumb was lifting-​he said it was okay and I could come back if it did. I also told him that he did not put on a base coat-​he said it was not needed. Well on Wednesday my thumb lifted and another nail had the polish chipping already. I went back, he cut my cuticle badly while fixing the nails. He kept pushing on the cut when he was filing, etc my nail. I told him it was hurting. Here it is Friday and two more of the nails have chipped polish. The shellac should last but without a base coat (which I told him) it has not. He was angry that I came back and took it out on my nails. Even though my nails are chipped, I will not go back-​my cuticle is red and scabbed from the last time. Horrible job! Never again-​especially for the price!

Probably the best nail salon I’ve been too since being in Texas. Usually go to one in Bulverde, but I was in NB for a doctors appointment, really needed a pedi so I gave them a shot. Pedicure was only $ 28!!! She did stuff to my feet no other salon has ever done.

I stoped in this shop to check out color options and level of customer service and decided that even though it wasn’t the nicest looking place… They seemed to have great customer service and ensured me that they would do the job to my specifications. So, I went back when it was time for a new set and they did THE BEST job EVER! I am very picky and have bounced around a lot because of it, but they nailed it on the first shot. The manicure also includes a neck and shoulder massage!
