Lotus River Day Spa & Nails

I have been going here for over 2 months. Why do I have to have all new nails and tips each time? They are popping up 5 days after the manicure. What is wrong with these people? Yeah, they are nice people, but when you have to be in there every 2 – 5 days to have your nails reglued, something is wrong. Now I think I have a fungus from having the nail pop up and then having to have them reglue it a day or so later cause I don’t have time to drop everything and drive over there. Why is it I can get my nails done in League City and they last 3 – 4 weeks? I come to New Braunfels, and they don’t last 5 days! this is true of all the salons I have been to, over 5 now since May. Cheap product? Come on! This is ridiculous!

Love this place! The staff makes a point of knowing their clientele and I am greeted by everyone! Dalena is my nail tech and I love her. She always delivers and gets me on my way in a timely fashion. As another licensed professional I am very impressed with the cleanliness of their tools and business. I’m in every 2 weeks!

Came in picked a color got seated for Mani pedi and had a young Asian girl start my pedicure which I couldn’t tell if she was new or just not good. She took forever to give me a pedicure she was literally just rubbing my feet and in the weirdest way. She was half way done and another girl came over and replaced her spot which I was so relieved because she quickly cut my nail’s, filed and painted them. I thought what the hell took so long for all that. For both mani pedi it took just over an hour. Never sat that long for my nail’s. Maybe it was a bad day.

You usually need an Apointment… But I’ve been going here for a couple years! Owners are great… Always get quality service. Nails always look great!

Definitely the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. They take their time with your nails and are very careful. I got Shellac color only, and a toenail polish change, which came out to $ 27 total.
The staff is very friendly and I will definitely be back.

Not good place to get nails done. Within a few days my shellac french tip nails had a yellow, dingy tint. I went back to have them fixed but they said i had been tanning or i caused the discoloration which I did not. Very Disappointed!

This place is busy so a reservation helps. I love Cindy because she is sweet, takes her time and is gentle with my ingrown nail problem! Her foot massages are so very relaxing!

I have been going to lotus for at least 10 years. Last year I had a stroke and the lovely people there work very hard to accommodate my disability. I go now about every 2 to 3 weeks as I am unable to cut my own nails. I just love it. You are able to get 5 star service for reasonable prices.

I’m new to the area and a coworker recommended this place and I love it. This was my second time here and I had a nice experience. The nails are good quality and they are very clean!!! Which is a plus! This will be my go to spot every month to pamper myself

I went there with a special friend. It was a great experience for both of us. We had manicure and pedicure and Cindy and Jennifer took good care of us

I had the BEST mani and pedi here. Jennifer and Sindy are so fun to watch interact with each other. Sweet gals who have mastered their craft. Worth the money!

Very nice people. My Bf and I went in for a pedicure, they had us in a room with just 2 chairs so we felt special! It was nice spending the quality time relaxing! The pedicures were great. We’ll definitely be back :)

From the first time I visited this place until now their service has been nothing but exceptional. I won’t go anywhere else!

My boyfriend and I stopped by to get pedicures today. We chose the deluxe pedicure for $ 25. It was so nice! The staff was extremely friendly and made sure we were comfortable. It was a very relaxing experience, and we will definitely be going back soon!

ahhhh paradise was never so sweet. The staff here is amazing. I see them every 2 – 3 week for my fingers and toes and I have never reeived anything less than fantastic service and care. They give me everything that I would like and are not super expensive. You definately get what you pay for and then some. If you’re looking to treat someone to a great day just call and make an appointment (i recommend doig so they are generally busy)

I used to go to this location when I lived in New Braunfels, I moved to Buda in August but my wedding was still in New Braunfels Oct 6^th. On Oct 5^th I was in NB for the rehearsal and stopped in at Millenium Medi Spa to use a groupon for my manicure. I received a shellac manicure. I HATED the color. I didn’t want to freak out (it’s my wedding for goodness sake!) so my matron of honor asked if we could schedule another appt. The manicurist didn’t show much care, she said she was booked back to back and just stared at me. So I left and went to Lotus River Day Spa. I immediately walked in and the manager recognized me and asked where I had been! I was surprised but flattered! I shared my shellac troubles and was freaking out because I had an hour and half to get my shellac redone, to the hotel to shower and change and to the rehearsal at the church.
She showed me what she could do in mixing 2 colors to get the perfect pearlescence pink I was looking for. Immediately I was in shellac remover! Then the manicurist started to work on my nails. Near the end I asked for one more coat of the lighter pink (because the darker pink at the botton still seemed a bit cotton candy) and the manager walked in and said you giver her what she wants, she’s the bride! The color ended up perfect, they made me feel important, and didn’t try to humor me. Thank you!
