All Service

We have used All Service for several years, for pest control and it’s chimney sweep and repair services. Last year, after having the chimney cleaned, we were told the chimney needed a new cap; $ 590+, so we had it done. In December 2015, the fireplace ceased to function properly and every time we used it, the house would smoke up. We called All Service, and after a quick inspection, was told the flue/​damper was stuck halfway open, and needed to be replaced for $ 701. I sought several other opinions from reputable chimney repair services and was told the flue/​damper was in perfect working order, but the chimney needed to be cleaned; cost, $ 150.
I called All Service, told them what had happened and why they had just lost a good customer. Although an apology was given, there was no offer to make things right, i.e. free or discounted fireplace service. We own a small business and find it disappointing that All Service won’t go the extra mile for it’s loyal customers.
After another company just scrubbed our fireplace this evening, it works just fine now. We will not be using All Service in the future.

Very friendly staff and affordable prices. We requested snake repellant after seeing one in the backyard the previous day. The gentleman helping us explained how it worked and told us he would line the perimeter of the fence in addition to spraying pesticide in the backyard for spiders and other critters. He claimed to address the front yard, garage, and backyard however he was finished in less than 10 minutes. Because the two men were so kind, we paid them, thanked them, and they were on their way. However, when we checked outside you could see where the snake repellent was was thrown and it was only scattered around the perimeter of the house, not the fence. We were also charged for a 5lb bag… this seems nearly impossible for what we saw scattered outside. The two men seemed to rush their work, and when we called to address the situation we were told by one of the men that he needed to discuss it with his partner, get back to us, and come back to our home if need be. Needless to say, we never got a phone call. In all honesty, we could have done a better job ourselves with product from Home Depot. We will not be using this service again.
