History
Established in 1991.
Tiles Plus, a family owned and operated business, was founded in 1991. Our first showroom, located on Route 9 in Framingham was approximately 1,500 sq ft and displayed a good amount of tile, stone and vinyl products. As the years went by, we increased the size of our showroom to 4,000 sq ft, added more flooring products such as hardwood and laminate, leading to our new name change, Tiles Plus More.
By 2008, we moved to a larger, more customer friendly location in Natick. Our now 9,000 sq ft showroom and warehouse features thousands of first quality products which include the classics as well as the latest innovation in styles, all at competitive prices. In addition, we have installed a number of vignettes and sample floors that show a variety of colors, styles and layouts to offer visual aid. For your convenience we have extended the showroom hours to Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Meet the Business Owner
Scott K.
Business Owner
I have been in the tile business for 33 years. I started working in the tile industry at the age of 16 as a «stock boy», as we were known in the tile world in 1978, for a large tile company that, at the time, had 10 to 15 stores in MA. After a short time with that company, I was given a full time position and became responsible for helping turn around some of their locations. In 1984, I decided to work for another local tile company and was there until 1991. It was in June of that year I decided to open my own tile store, Tiles Plus, because I realized that there was a need for a better way to shop for tile. I knew that a tile store that offered honest and helpful service, and an incredible selection was the way I wanted to run my business. To this day, I am extremely involved on the showroom floor and I enjoy using my creative and natural ability to help customers choose the look that’s right for them.
