Salon Atash has a young vibrant and sophisticated atmosphere for our clientele. Catering to both regulars and walk-​ins, the professionals at Atash are masterful with coloring as well as couture hair design. In combination with a hair design studio, Atash is the first to introduce Nashville to the Brow Bar. The Brow Bar, and its highly trained staff create perfect eyebrow shapes using the ancient Far East method of Threading.

History

Established in 1990.

As the daughter of a hair dresser and clothing designer, I grew up watching and helping my mother work on peoples’ appearances. When I naturally entered the field during the early 80’s, I traveled throughout Europe and the United States to pursue my own career in the hair and fashion industry.

When I arrived in America in 1986, one thing caught my attention: everyone’s hair was curly, teased big, or bleached. The second thing

that I noticed was everyone had eyebrows that were out of shape and

uneven. Including big name fashion icons and TV models. This was so amazing to me, something so common in the Middle East, was completely ignored in the USA. In the Middle East, every lady who goes out to buy her lamb from the butcher and bread from the bakery, stops by to have her eyebrows done at the shop.

Eyebrow design isn’t a luxury in the middle east, it is a common practice.

Similar to having your nails manicured in the US.

Business Owner

Katie Mirian is a famous and fashionable hair stylist who started her career in her native country Iran. Katie is the primary designer and owner of Ziba International aka Salon Atash Hair and Brow Bar, a combination salon and style boutique. She has been handling the hair and style definitions of the rich and famous since her arrival in 1986. Today, she and staff work with international celebrities as well as providing her service to top fashion and model agencies. A true artist, Mirian applies her design, creativity and sensitivity to every thing she does.

After many productive years, Ziba’s business began to boom in many directions so Katie saw the opportunity for expansion. This is when she saw the need for Opening Salon Atash Hair and Brow Bar.

A big believer in mentoring people in her profession, Katie spends time each week teaching and training.
