Business Owner
My name is Katy Johnson and I’m a California native who moved to Nashville in 2008. I earned a B.A. in Humanities and Political Science from Pepperdine University (Go Waves!) and taught high school for four years. I have always loved to take pictures but I’ve not always had the time to dedicate to it. In 2011, my husband and I had our son and we decided the 2011 – 2012 school year would be my last to teach. Since I’ve been at home with my son, I’ve been able to dedicate more time to crafting my art and we decided to launch Katy J. Photography in the Fall of 2012.
