Fantastic customer service! I took my time going from store to store to find the right boots and found them here. Not only did I find the best boots but they had the nicest people working here — especially compared to the other stores we went to.

The service here is top notch, which is why they get two stars. However, the boots I got on «sale» for $ 199 (a «great price and real steal,» according to the guy helping me) actually retail for $ 170.
Good service is worth something, but probably not an 18% premium over the retail price of an item I could have also purchased from Amazon for $ 142.49 or purchased for less money at any of the nearby boot places with similarly good service.
I accept part of the blame for being a tourist and an uninformed consumer, but I’d still recommend looking for a more trustworthy store or at least looking up boot prices online before you buy.

I just returned from Nashville New Years and bought two pairs of boots here. Sadly it looks like I’ve paid over retail price, after being represented they were 30 and 40% off. They don’t take returns and I’m in California, so it wouldn’t matter anyway. Looks like the real retail price for the old gringos I purchased is 430. Mine were marked 30% off of 839.99. So I paid more than actual retail price, 570. I’m so bummed as these were a splurge for me and WOW I didn’t love em so much I wanted to pay more than retail. And since they were making all of that extra money seems like they could have paid the $ 20 to ship them to me. Besides the fact they charge way too much money and ripped me off, I will say the store was very nice looking, the sales help was good, and they have a good selection. Possibly they will work a deal if you know the real price tags. I have no clue. The second pair looks closer to actual retail, but they were sold to me for 40% off what they were marked. It appears to me all of the Old Gringo line are marked up double retail price. I’m one disappointed, unhappy customer about this.

Cannot say enough great things here. After boot shopping all day the gal in here with no judgment told me the boot I need which she didnt have and she walked me to another store and had someone personally help me. This was the most helpful boot shop I have ever been into. Even though they didnt have what I needed they went above and beyond! Forever grateful! Great store!
