Worse experience ever. First off this place is a motel 6. I went there on 10÷11÷14. I was there with 6 couples. Wasn’t at hotel for more then 25 min before all the guys headed downtown in cabs. About 1.5 hrs later we were called back to hotel just to find out most everyone was evicted. Best part was no one was there but 3 females in 3 separate rooms. Police were called its now 1:00 in morning I’m being threatened with arrest and I’m not allowed my property. Then right as I’m asking for explanation as I’m about to be arrested hotel manager realized he called cops on wrong person and tells them I’m not evicted but everyone else is lol. Needless to say after all embarrassment and trying to organize everyone rides back home to CT at 1:30 am we all left. Place was dirty and people doing drugs on balconies stay away. We never would have went if every other hotel wasnt sold out.

Not a REDROOF anymore – Motel 6. Much nicer than the $ 59 a night would have you think. Newly re-furbed with new hardwood look flooring(easy to see if clean and wheelchair friendly) –very clean; funky mod look towel rack; seperate sink area with large counter area(no hair dryer) grab bar in tub. Flat screen TV. AC worked great on humid thunderstormy night. Quiet — did not hear any other guests. Tailored bed linens means they are not dragging on floor. IF you want a great breakfast head into down town Nashua(few mins away) and go to Main Street to JACKIES – funky cute little diner(NOCARDS but every bank with an ATM on same block) meals for 3 came to under $ 20 with french toast; great bacon; fresh fruit cups; sausages; great hash – bigger menu than you would think – try the STEAKBOMBOMELETTE!!! Other things to see and do — -Laconia/Weirs Beach(1 hour thru gorgeous country) great beach and train rides; mountain views; ride North to Mount Washington; shopping; adorable town of Meredith; Loudon Race Track; just over 1 hour to York Beach Maine(Lobster Cove; Nubble Lighthouse; outlets) Boston; whale watches etc. Only drawback – no free internet and desk did NOT share this with us.

Update! Why did I stay here again, you ask? Because my brother was graduating college, thus, it would probably be our last time staying in Nashua for a good long time. I guess we’re sentimental. We go to check in, there is one man working the counter, so we wait. My mom paid for the two rooms in cash, and we had the change figured out well before he did – even when he busted out the calculator. Not important, although you would think the computer would have some sort of system to figure this all out??? Now, we had booked two rooms ATTHESAMETIME over the phone weeks before. My room was on the bottom floor, corner, backside of the building. My mom’s room was on the second floor, opposite corner, opposite side of the building– literally as far apart as they could possibly be. We only asked that they were non-smoking. The door to my mom’s room was wide open when we went up to check it out. She went in anyway, closed the door after and went to check out our room.(Eventually, she discovered a pool of water in the bathroom, called the desk and they sent someone to clean it up-still not sure what was leaking?) It smelled like a dog sled team had just left — it was the most overwhelming smell of wet dog I think I’ve ever encountered. So back to the office we went, to request another room, where they told me, for future reference, that they usually put people with dogs on the bottom floor, for convenience. Which is very nice, but we have no dog, and didn’t request a ground floor room.(And, the next room over when we moved upstairs had two black labs in it. Interesting.) So we got moved to a room just down the hall from my mom, that was recently renovated– the renovations were SO nice! But guess what? Bathroom fan was still super loud. Awesome. But that guy at the desk? We told him about a housekeeping joke we made the first time we stayed there, and he remembered it when we checked out. He was a delight. I wish I could remember his name!

Now a motel 6. First I am giving it 4 stars not because it’s a 4 star hotel but because it does everything a travel hotel needs to do and does it well. It provides a clean basic place to lay your head for the night. This is my second stay and both times the rooms were nice, clean, quiet and cheap. What more could you ask for. P. S. the shower was nice and powerful.
