The best cheesesteak in Nashua. Until I had theirs, I was unaware that it’s possible to have one without gristle. It’s the purest form of the craft. Meat, cheese, Mushrooms(perfectly grilled) and bread. The staff is always friendly and pleasant. Even when it gets busy they treat everyone like a valued guest. Not bad for a sandwich joint!

I usually love the chicken kabob salads from here, and it’s enough for two people. However I went last night and the portion was considerably smaller and the price was the same. I spent $ 22 for a salad with chicken and a chicken kabob dinner, which also had less chicken than normal. Disappointing, not sure if this is the new norm or just an off night but can’t say I’ll be going back anytime soon.

I ordered here for delivery. My food was ice cold. I asked for provolone cheese on my roast beef sandwich and there was literally a little«sliver» of cheese. About a ¼ of a slice of cheese. I live in Hooksett and usually have good food there. Definitely not impressed with the Nashua Giovannis. And Delivery took over an hour to get.

Delivery took over an hour to arrive on a Wednesday night. It was cold when too. No one likes cold soggy waffle fries and cold pizza unless it’s the next day. It shouldn’t take that long for a delivery that is one exit away.

Giovanni’s has been a standby for years when we’ve come in to town to visit family with the roast beef sub being the cornerstone. However, visiting today the roast beef was clearly not of the quality it used to be and the soup we got was flavorless. It also didn’t help the the guy working the register managed to break my debit card in half! The comped(flavorless) soup didn’t make up for the inconvenience caused by him flexing the card between his fingers while asking the manager how to ring up said soup. Not returning.

If you order delivery online — it routineliy takes way too long to actually get your food. And often its cold.

This place was not clean enough for me. The pizza was ok. I wouldn’t bother returning.

Roast beef sandwiches made the real way. Warm thinly sliced with the special sauce. Very busy place. Staff is all friendly and professional. The kitchen is wide open and clean. So you can see your food being made right in front of you. If you can’t find a parking spot you can park on the street.

Man, did this place hit the spot. - I recently moved back to New England after having lived in Texas for two years. You know what they don’t have in Texas? Roast beef sandwiches. ANYWHERE. - So it was with great pleasure that I had lunch here today. And even better to find that their roast beef sandwiches are AWESOME. They use the crunchy onions in there — you know the kind — like French’s onion strings or whatever. The beef was lean and so good. I also got a pizza roll, because I’m a glutton. It’s one of those egg-roll deep-fried kind — which are also awesome! Really, really good roast beef place. I’d go again in a second.

Good food and prices! My only complaint is that delivery takes forever, so just keep that in mind especially if you’re ordering on a weekday lunch. I especially love their kabob salads.

We love that they deliver, especially on the evenings of this past cold winter. Our favorites are the salads(try the chicken kabob) and wow to their Greek dressing – best we’ve ever had. If your taste runs toward red meat, they have a really great cheese steak! Good food all around, convenient spot in north Nashua.

This place gets 5 stars for their house salad dressing alone! I literally crave their salads, especially their steak kabob with feta. Love it!

After the horrible customer service I received tonight I’ll never go back. I ordered 2 calzones for delivery. When they got here half the ingredients were missing from one. So I called and explained that they made it wrong. The manager says ok we’ll send you a new one but don’t eat that one. So on top of the hour wait for the 1st calzone I’m supposed to make my daughter wait another 30 minutes to eat dinner? So that they can take it back and throw it away? Poor poor customer service when they’re the one that messed up.

I had the super roast beef with cheese, sauce and mayo… only way to order in my opinion. Sandwich was very good… but could have been a bit gooier. My girlfriend had the pastrami and it was not as good.

Just spent 15 minutes on their website until it crashed. Tried to place a phone order and got an answering machine. I’m never eating here again. It won’t let me put 0 stars.

I order lunch from at Giovannis all the time for years. I love everything here the food options: pasta dishes, Sicilian pizza, sub sandwiches. They are very fairly priced and the staff is quick to learn your name and remember your order.

The pizza is not very good. There isn’t enough sauce so it was hard to tell if it had any flavor and the crust was just totally flavorless, very disappointed. Service was nothing good to talk about either.

Giovanni’s has awesome food. Their Pizza could use a lot of work, so only three stars. I have had a lot of different things there and it is all great, again except the pizza. Their Chipotle Steak Tip salad is 5 stars! And their managment is always hospitable. They always show concern for satisfying customers!

Lemme sum up: Pizza could use a LOT of work I apologize for the reiteration of another Unilocaler’s review, but it is spot on. How do I put this? If a frozen Greek pizza met up with an over oiled NY pie and pulled a Schwarzenegger, Giovanni’s pizza would be the result. At first glance, the pies look alright. Heck, with the toppings, they look impressive. We got a BBQ Chicken and a Bacon Cheddar.(*points to self* Carnivore and don’t you forget it.) The BBQ Chicken had about a full pound of breast meat, drizzled artistically with BBQ sauce. The Cheddar Bacon had plenty of crumbled bacon and great pools of cheddar across the pie. Then I took a bite and the truth became glaringly apparent. Wicked disappointing. Crust is riding the edge of being passable with a hint of cardboard. Sauce was good. Mozzarella cheese was alright. Except, for the BBQ chicken pizza, the meat had been grilled beyond the point of juiciness. In fact, it was just this side of becoming jerky. And somehow, Giovanni’s thinks that spoojing that sad excuse for nacho cheese sauce you get at the movie theater on a pizza equals cheddar. EPICFAIL! I had one slice of each and called it quits. Sad, really, because we ordered two large and I’m not sure what we’re going to do with the rest.

I’ve been to Giovanni’s three times, once for once for take-out, once for pick-up, and once for delivery. The food is always great. It’s delicious and priced fairly. This would be a five star review if the service were not so bad. On my take-out, I waited at the counter for six minutes before anyone even spoke to me. For the carry-out, I was put on hold for 12 minutes before they took my order. For the delivery, they arrived after an hour with the wrong food. I called at an hour and twenty minutes and the driver was only just returning(I live two minutes away). Total delivery time for my food was one hour and forty minutes. They did not comp my meal or return the tip I gave on the first delivery(back when I assumed I’d see my food five minutes later). Edit: They later called back to berate us for not saying thank you for the free onion rings they gave us to make up for their mistake(the tone in her voice said they did not feel it was a mistake but we were so much trouble, they would spare the onion rings). I told her we never received any onion rings. In the morning, we found them sitting on our front stoop. I cannot recommend the food enough. I cannot recommend the restaurant at all.
