History
Established in 2012.
Yoshimama is consistently rated the place to go for Japanese and Seafood. Some people even say it is better than anything Boston has to offer! Our Master Chef and Owner spent many years training in a Japanese environment under a renowned Sushi Master. He is brilliantly creative and exacting, and strives to achieve total customer satisfaction in both food and service. In addition to the standard Japanese fare, we have Asian Fusion dishes developed by our chef that are truly outstanding. Meet the Business Owner
Tony L.
Business Owner
Tony is the new owner as of Fall 2012 and is our Master Chef. Tony started training as a Sushi Chef when he was only 18 years old. His primary training was under a Master Sushi Chef expert in the Japanese tradition. Unlike most sushi chefs in the US, Tony has extensive knowledge of seafood, including the many types available in Japan but not in the US. He knows both the Japanese and English names, not only of the seafood, but also the preparation and serving methods. With a winning combination of his extensive knowledge, exceptional training, natural talent, and insistence on customer satisfaction, he has created a very successful small restaurant that draws people for a fifty mile radius. This is his first restaurant and a harbinger of more to come in the future!
