Established in 1989.

John L. McClain, Esquire founded John L. McClain & Associates almost immediately after graduating from law School in 1989. He later founded AAACredit Counseling, Inc. His practice is highly concentrated in Consumer Bankruptcy and Real Estate Law. His Bar memberships include the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, The State of New Jersey, and the United States District Court For the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. McClain is currently a member of multiple Bar Associations as well as the American Bankruptcy Institute, The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, Debtor Bar Round Table and Gay and Lesbian Lawyers of Philadelphia.

Mitchell J. Prince, Esquire joined John L. McClain & Associates in 1994 as an Associate Attorney. Together with Mr. McClain, he helped found AAACredit Counseling, Inc. He concentrates his practice in Consumer Bankruptcy Law. His Bar memberships include the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, The State of Maryland, District Of Columbia, United States District Court Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Mr. Prince is currently a member of multiple Bar Associations as well as The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney’s, Debtor Bar Round Table and Gay and Lesbian Lawyers of Philadelphia. Prior to joining John L. McClain & Associates, Mr. Prince attended the University of Maryland, College Park where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1987 and from there he earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1990. Mr. Prince then held a clerkship for the Honorable Justice James T. McDermott, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania (now deceased).
