DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Naples

I want to give this place 4 ½ stars.
When we first arrived and checked in, our room smelled like mold. Went to the front desk. and let me tell you. Right away, the lady (so sad I didn’t get her name) took me on a tour of rooms, to pick out my own room. She then gave me complimentary drink tickets for the trouble. Breakfast with Adrian and happy hour with Debrah… awesome! Best customer service. Overall everyone was friendly! My only issue that I have is that they won’t honor my Hilton Honors because I booked through Expedia. If I had known this, I wouldn’t have booked through Expedia

I have stayed here many times now so I may be biased or I may just be experienced. Now, the location isn’t the greatest but the beaches are not that far and plenty of shops and restaurants within a quick drive. The décor in the room is a little dated. The pool is not spectacular. The elevator is the second slowest in south Florida (Hampton Inn, Coconut Creek wins here.) If I was to end my review here, its a 2 star review. So why did I give them 5 stars? Easy — Unilocal won’t let me give them 10! Where this hotel is better than the rest out there is service. The entire staff is without a doubt, the most friendly, sincere and helpful you will find anywhere. Cleanliness is also another big factor in my 5 star review. The rooms, bathrooms, patios, pool area — the entire hotel — is clean! This of course goes right back to the fantastic staff and management they have here. I have primarily stayed here for business and nothing starts my day better than breakfast on their patio. Nice big tv to catch the news, fans to keep you cool in the hot months and as always, exceptional and attentive service.
Now, I loved this place so much, I took my family there last year. How many business travelers liked their hotel so much they wanted their family to come down and enjoy it too. From the waiter who brought my little girl a special order of mickey mouse, chocolate chip pancakes, to the front desk staff that treated her like a princess. Even the housekeeper that not only setup her Disney stuff toys but she made her a dog out of a towel too.
Now, my business does not take me to Naples anymore but I do still come down in the area, just a half hour north. There are other hotels in that area too but I decided the half hour drive in the morning was worth it so I still stay here. My family also can not wait for our next trip to Naples to this great hotel again.

Great service from the front desk, free cookies and big rooms! The breakfast buffet is amazing!

Amazing customer service! After we checked out, my girlfriend realized she forgot items in our room. The staff was kind enough to give it back to her. The late night lady at the front desk was extremely friendly when we checked in and gave us cookies and a free newapaper.
The fish and chips we ordered from room service was delicious!

Stay here for one night on business. The room on third floor was awesome. Large balcony. Very clean. I left my phone charger behind and they mailed it back to NJ for me! I’m a big fan!!!

Highly recommend Doubletree hotel. There is nothing for me to complain about. We were taken care of once we walked through the door. Absolutely top notch customer service. We were allowed early check in and were even upgraded to a balcony suite! The room was clean, large, with 2 tvs, and large bathroom. The staff were very friendly, always asking if we needed anything, oh, and free, warm chocolate chip cookies were provided whenever you want! Hotel even provides you with beach blankets and chairs. Beach was close, less than 2 miles away, and lots of options around for food and drink.
Will stay here again.

The good: very nice spacious rooms, breakfast is awesome and nice pool. The not so good, slow wi-​fi, parking and you can hear other people in nearby rooms. Right next to hotel is great Asian restaurant Charlie Changs. Close to downtown Naples

Very good place to stay! Just what I expected from Hilton/​DoubleTree Suites. Nice suite room, and happy it had balcony with chairs, as we were there on vacation. Room was clean and updated, though the sofa in the sitting room wasn’t that comfortable.
We got drinks from the bar and took them out to the covered poolside patio. The bartender was great. They do allow smoking outside in this area, but nobody was smoking whenever I was eating there. We had dinner (fish & chips — was great, but had to use wine vinegar instead of malt) and the buffet breakfast (good omelets to order) here. Also had dinner at the attached Charlie Chiang’s which was also good.
Checked out the hotel’s beach chairs and umbrella, and drove up to the Delnor Wiggins State Park beach, which was close.
So good, comfortable hotel with good service and convenient North Naples location off the major road. Good value for what you get!

A great find for a last minute vacation. 2 miles from the beach, and they provided us with beach chairs and an umbrella. Rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. Fitness room is small but had machines and free weights so I was good. For in the restaurant was good.
An extra special shout out to Robin Jill, Hope, and Joanne. These ladies went out of their way to help us plan our days and make sure we had all we needed, in the friendliest way of any front desk staff I have ever seen. Also, Debra at the bar served us daily with a welcoming smile.
My only complaint, which I hope they fix, is no pressure in the shower. It is hard to rinse curly hair without pressure.
Overall, a most pleasant relaxing stay.

Stayed a week over Christmas 2014 and overall, our experience indicated that this is a solid place to stay but not perfect.
The good: clean rooms, nice pool, friendly staff
The mehs: fitness center (tiny and spartan), staff response time, location (close to wonderful state park, relatively far from downtown Naples), value
The bad: our stay included breakfast and every morning the service was lousy, the buffet empty and the wait times ridiculous, with long lines and frustrated people. This was not caused by unfriendly staff buy by understaffing. I know it was Christmas week, but this occurred before and after the holiday. Also, the front desk boasted about the beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards available. Yet when the equipment was there (half the time) it was in disrepair, dirty and old. (A $ 100 investment in some chairs and boogies board would go a long way).
I’d probably go back for the right rate.

From the moment we step foot into the lobby until our departure we were so impressed with the service, room and cleanliness of the entire hotel. The staff was most accommodating, helpful and friendly. Wade checked us in and he was the most pleasant person and gave us a great room on the 3^rd floor. Hope Haworth took care of a minor problem for us and we thank her for the 2 breakfast buffets. I highly recommend this hotel, they even provide beach chairs and towels for the beach. I will definitely stay there again.

We came for a long weekend as I had a family wedding. Got upgraded from a regular king suite to one with a balcony. Beautiful room. Friendly staff. From the moment we walked we felt welcome. From the front desk person, to the restaurant wait staff. Just awesome. Even got warm cookies on arrive. The breakfast buffet was very nice — made to order omelets and waffles. Yummy.

Had a great experience! Everything was clean, the staff were friendly. No complaints at all.

Just stayed at the Doubletree Naples from ⁵⁄₆ through ⁵⁄₁₂. Staff was first rate, very friendly and accommodating, which, in my experience, can sometimes be touch and go at mid-​range priced South Florida hotels. Rooms were clean and well appointed, and while I didn’t eat at the restaurant inside the hotel, I did eat at the very good Charlie Chiang’s, which is separate, but attached to the hotel, next door. I’m typically a Marriott traveler, but I was very happy with the entire experience at Doubletree Naples and would stay there again without hesitation.

Sehr sehr schönes Hotel mit großen Zimmern! Auch der Pool und der Hottop ist klasse. Das Personal ist stets überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Einziges Manko ist die laute Strasse, die man mehr als deutlich am Pool hört.

Very nice DoubleTree, I ate at the hotel restaurant each night and was always pleased. Good hotel for the lone traveler.

I took my mom to Naples for Mother’s Day to do a little outlet shopping and this hotel was absolutely awesome. The customer service was so superb that it was almost a little startling. They give each of your guests a deliciously fresh and warm chocolate chip cookie upon arrival (although it could do without the nutritional facts on the label!). The room itself was incredibly spacious and clean. We even had a balcony facing the pool area. It is also very close to the beach which is a definite positive. My only gripes would be that it is kind of far from downtown Naples and the walls are pretty thin; but other than that my stay at this hotel was superb. Would definitely stay here again!

We stopped over here for a night on our way to a wedding. I was really impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the suites. Our late check-​in was quick and seamless and the staff warm and helpful. We forgot to request a pack n play for our baby but called on our way to ask, and it was all set up in our room ready to go when we arrived! Plenty of clean towels, coffee pods for the morning and decent complimentary toiletries. Love the little sitting area that separates the bedroom. I actually wish we had time to explore this little gem more. The breakfast smelled yummy but we didn’t try it as we were in a hurry.

I took a long time to write my review but now that I am thinking of vacation again I have to say that this hotel is perfection at best. I have not one bad thing to say after spending 4 glorious days here.

I stay at this hotel monthly. I’m a Hilton honors member and love this hotel. The secret is out because they are sold out even during off season. The breakfast can be made to order and they always have coffee although I don’t care for their coffee. They have a little happy hour and a restaurant on property. The fitness center is small but has 3 treadmills and 2 ellipticalls. The staff is polite and attentive. The rooms are all large, have a coffee pot, small fridge, and a sitting area. The rooms are always clean. I have stayed here probably 30 – 40 times and they never let me down.
