We are a husband and wife team specializing in portraits and weddings. We serve the Chicagoland area and the greater mid-​west from our home base near Naperville, Illinois. Wes has shot in over ten countries and we are available for global or destination assignments.

We’re full service in that we don’t simply dump a bunch of unprocessed digital files on you. We work along side you to design timeless wall collections and albums for you to display and cherish. Digital files are included along with these services.

We blend editorial photojournalism and fine-​art portraiture to create rich, meaningful photographs. We’ve partnered with some fabulous printers and bookbinders to create unique, lifetime art pieces capable of transporting you at a glance. Simply put, we create visually-​striking and love-​affirming custom artwork for you and your family.

History

Established in 2005.

Hello, I’m Wes Craft. Our photography is often described by our brides as bold, classy, fun, and timeless. We’ve be shooting for over 10 years now!

I shot my first freelance wedding in 2005 using natural light and an eye for the candid moments. By 2008 I was the most referred photographer at one of Chicagoland’s best known studios. In 2011 I photographed my 300^th wedding and launched my own official business with my lovely and talented wife Necia.

Now we have combined experience photographing over 400 weddings and would love the opportunity to bring our talents to your once in a lifetime celebration.

Business Owner

Originally from the South Eastern United States, Wes’ family moved to the Philippines when he was twelve. His father taught him to use a camera and he roamed around enthusiastically photographing this exotic new home filled with banana trees and lizards.

Years later, as a freelance photographer he got his start working for non profits shooting all over the world: from the slums outside Nairobi to the farmlands of Vietnam. In 2005 he shot his first wedding for a friend and fell in love with wedding photography.

Wes loves to travel and meet new people. His favorite city is Barcelona, where he and Necia honeymooned. He’s a foodie whose favorite food is Vietnamese Phở. He loves discovering new music and has been known to break out into song at random. He does a pretty mean Elvis impersonation. Aside from photography, other passions include hiking and the Chicago Bulls.
