I also came to Studio Luxe from the city for Terra, despite the one hour drive. Terra has cut my hair for four years. I initially found Terra while searching for a stylist skilled at cutting short hair. Terra is a superb stylist. She also is warm and kind and instantly puts clients at ease. She is very knowledgeable and works in close partnership with her clients. I am picky about my hair and it has a mind of its own but I never have to worry about how my hair will look after a haircut by Terra. Studio Luxe, Terra’s new salon home, is bright and airy and staffed by nice people.

I have been seeing Terra who now works at Studio Luxe for 6 years as a client downtown, she is such an mazing stylist and colorist that both my boyfriend and I take the hour drive to see her now at Studio Luxe! I can’t say enough about her, you will never have a better color or style in your life. My hair has garnered so many compliments that I carry her card on me to hand out to strangers as well as friends. She takes the time to listen and learn her clients skillfully knowing when to push or hold back and ALWAYS making them feel comfortable. I have gone from short to long and back again, funky to classic and Terrra always helps me achieve exactly what I am looking for. As for color Terra is truly a master, from day one to week five I am complimented constantly. My boyfriend who has the thickets waviest hair I have ever seen on a man loves Terra as well. Until I purchased him his first haircut with her he had never paid it any mind, he is now known within his industry as the «the guy with amazing hair.» I honestly can not live without Terra in my life, the drive to Naperville is 100% worth it.

My usual hairstylist no longer works here. Since then, I’ve tried 2 different girls and they are just ok. What takes away from this salon is the snootiness that comes from many of the help staff, mainly the cashier. Unfortunately will not be going back.

Best locally owned and operated salon. Love that they are a green salon and work hard to recycle all of their product and water waste. Stylists are knowledgeable and trained by the owner. Stylist are also encouraged to keep current with trends and take classes to keep sharp on cuts and styles. I love this salon!

I had my hair cut and colored by Malerie, and she did a wonderful job! The staff was all very friendly and personable, and the studio is beautiful and very clean! I highly recommend this salon and Malerie. :)

Four words: Tiffany is a genius!
Tiffany has been in charge of my hair for over a decade. I can’t imagine seeing anyone else.
I’ve had a similar style on and off over the years yet she always makes it modern and fresh. She is so skilled that the shape and structure hold even as it grows out.
And every single time she has done my hair she makes the color pop. Stunningly beautiful standout color. And the best part — it isn’t stark or shockingly different. It just looks amazing.
Whenever I leave I feel like a new woman. Relaxed and energized from the environment and the people too.
The location is perfect for meeting people out after your appointment. So many amazing restaurants nearby (fyi, parking can be a little tight depending on when you’re there).
I live an hour away in traffic but I won’t trust my hair to any other salon. It is so worth the trip!

Truly AWFUL experience! I am pretty laid back about my hair, and wasn’t even going to write a bad review because people (stylists) have ‘off’ days. But after going in twice and my hair looking worse each time (I asked for Emma Stone, brought pix and everything, and came out looking like bozo the clown meets cruella de ville) I was upset. Still, I wouldn’t let it bother me that much except that when I returned some unopened hair product, they wouldn’t refund the tax I had paid! The very snotty front desk girl said it was store policy, so they basically stole the tax I paid on the crappy product line! (Which claims to be eco-​friendly, but if you check it out on
, you’ll see there are some really awful chemicals in it!) The stylist was nice, but clearly brand new as she took off twice as much length as I had asked for, completely butchered my bangs, and gave me truly awful color that will take forever to grow out. It will also cost me more money to go to a proper salon and get it re-​covered every 4 weeks until the hideous streaks grow out. And to have money stolen from me on top of it is absurd. This place is disgraceful and a complete joke! AVOID!!!

Technically, this place is great. The quality of haircut you get here is great. The design is great, the atmosphere is great. Stylists are nice.
But.
I’ve been here twice now, and both times I left feeling faintly displeased but I couldn’t put my finger on it. The main reason why is because the stylists I feel do what they think is best for you and not what you requested.
For example, my hair was quite long (for me) and I requested as much length be kept as possible, even though my hair at the end was quite damaged. I also mentioned quite clearly that I loathe face framing, and to please not do that to my hair. I brought in a picture of a girl with very messy, shaggy beach waves. Coco said she understood.
I walked out with my hair much shorter than I agreed to, styled to frame my face, and straight. This is not what I asked for, in fact it’s exactly what I said clearly I did not want. I know she cut it shorter to make it healthy, because when she turned me around to show it to me, she said «all healthy!» like she did me a favor. Totally understand as a stylist it must be natural instinct to cut away damaged hair, but when your client SPECIFICALLY ASKED YOU NOT TO, DON’T DO IT. She also sprayed sticky salt spray onto my roots «for volume» and I can already tell I’m going to need to wash it tomorrow morning because it’s so sticky.
it’s really frustrating for a stylist not to take what their client says into consideration, or also to use common sense to gauge who they’re servicing. I am a blue haired girl with tattoos and she gave me the Rachel from Friends haircut. It doesn’t go with me at all, and now I have to patiently wait for it to grow back out and then try yet another place.
The best way I can think to describe this place is very vanilla. No personality to it, and at the end of the visit, she handed me shampoo and conditioner to take to the register «in case I wanted it» — it was a pretty awkward move.
I dunno, meh.

I’m not normally one to write reviews but Studio Luxe definitely deserves one! I’ve gone here a couple times and have been VERY pleased with the results. Morgan is the first person you meet when you walk in (and a sweetheart too) — super helpful. I’ve had Anne and Kristina work on my hair and it’s refreshing to sit down in the chair and have the stylist listen and take time to understand what you like, don’t like, want, and would be open to trying rather then rush you through to process. Everyone’s really sweet here and it’s NOT a pretentious salon (which are pretty prevalent in the area…) They also recommend products but don’t force them on you… somehow I do always go home with something new though ;) They are also very good about helping you figure out HOW to style your hair when you’re on your own — definitely learned a few tips for my hair.
Love it. Will be back. Highly recommend to ANYONE needing a cut — I’m sure they work wonders on coloring but haven’t tried it myself yet.

I am afflicted with the disorder known as «I don’t know how to make hair look nice.» Luckily for me, Antonia is a stylist at Studio Luxe and an expert on this subject. she is great, she is sweet and when I explained to her that I don’t know how to use a curling iron, she gave me a tutorial. Everyone seems so friendly, its reasonably priced and for being situated in Naperville, it is surprisingly lacking in Naperville Pretentiousness! Yay to that! Also, it really doesntt hurt that it is in the same shopping complex as Naf Naf Grill either. Hair cut and a falafel! That’s a good day!

If you are looking for a L.A. or NYC level of salon, Studio Luxe is your spot. Tiffany and her crew are beyond talented and I am constantly stopped and complimented and asked «Who does your hair?»
To get 5 stars from me, you have to hit all the high notes in five areas — cut, color, style, environment and products.
Cut — Having short hair, I learned the importance of razors and texturizing and shape. Tiffany listens to what I want, we talk about how that will or will not work for what I’m trying to achieve, etc. She doesn’t take things personally when I want something specific and she always comes up with ideas I hadn’t thought of. Observing her with her team is great, she is always teaching them and they always make it a point to carve out time to watch her. Bottom line, not only can they cut short hair — they do it really well. Anyone will tell you this alone makes Studio Luxe stand out. But there’s more…
Color — The studio itself, is just that — it’s open and contemporary and I love the color bar — it’s my favorite part. It’s so cool to see half-​used tubes of color and scales and the precision that goes into stand-​out hair. To me, this is another area where Studio Luxe excels. It’s one thing to have a good cut, but a good colorist is near impossible to find. Just one more reason I won’t go anywhere else.
Style — Like anything else, hair styles change and it’s important that you know what works for you and what doesn’t, regardless of trend. Everyone at Studio Luxe stays ahead of the curve so you don’t have to. Because it’s a teaching environment, you’re always surrounded by new things.
Environment — Open, contemporary and inviting, calming décor and wall colors. Cool product displays make it easy to sniff-​check things while browsing. I love the seating area next to the color bar.
Products — When it comes to hair products, I am admittedly a snob. I’ve tried almost everything out there and can honestly say I’ve converted to Davines. Being a scientist at heart, it blew me away to find such an impressive line of products. I’m using Love Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner and the No 13 Mat Forming Ground for Wizards. Excellent stuff and everyone at Studio Luxe is knowledgeable about the latest science behind the products.
All in all, I couldn’t ask for a better hair experience. The prices are what you would expect for this level of artistry and service, and that’s coming from someone who drives 45-​minutes one way. I’ve been making that drive for the past 12 years and it’s worth every mile!

I have been going to Studio Luxe for a couple of years now. Before I went there, I had lost ALL faith in hair colorists, as my hair was really damaged from a previous salon. I have been seeing Jessica ever since and she is incredibly talented. I am frugal and I am willing to shell out a tad bit more than other salons just to go here, because the products are one of a kind and Jessica is awesome. :) She always takes the time to talk to me about what I want and never rushes me through an appointment. She is also NOT PUSHY at all on selling products and that is why I choose to buy them for myself when I can. If you are looking for a fresh and chic place to go for your hair? Look no further.

I needed a last minute blow out for a friend’s wedding this past weekend and Jessica did a great job! Quick, comfortable and looked great at $ 50!

It is a challenge to find a hair stylist that can cut my hair. As an afro-​american with hair that is wavy, curly and fine many do not know how to cut it properly. Well let me tell you I found a stylist who knows what she is doing. Her name is Anne and she did a phenomenal job cutting my hair into a style. I brought a picture with me. She listened and asked plenty of questions to make sure she understood what I was looking for and this made me feel at ease.
Not only did I get a fantastic hair cut but everyone in the salon was very friendly and I felt like I was part of a family. I definitely recommend Sutio Luxe. I will be returning from now on.

Every time I come back here, I’m never disappointed. I hadn’t been here since February because I got a new job and moved away from Naperville, but my hair was in desperate need of some TLC. I called in and made a same day appointment to see Antonia this evening. When I walked in, it was like no time had gone by. I was welcomed in and after 9 months, the owner and both of my stylists Jessica and Antonia, still remembered my name. It was like coming home, as cheesy as that sounds.
Antonia gave me a great consultation. One of my favorite things is she doesn’t just ask me how much I want off, but has me show her so the length is never lost in translation. Nothing is worse than saying «2 inches» and having the stylist translate it as «6 inches»! After a great shampoo and cut, she suggest great products to keep my hair protected and frizz free. I will be back!
This is a place to go to feel like your business is really valued. They know how to treat their customers well; I drove 45 min from my new place for the service, and I will continue to do so in the future!

I received the best haircut I have had in years and at about ½ the cost. My stylist spent a lot of time listening to me and determining what I wanted and expected from my haircut. This is what a great stylist does! Then she delivered an awesome haircut that was exactly what I wanted.
I really recommend Studio Luxe. Great service and a fantastic haircut at a very reasonable price.

I was prepared to love this place after reading all the great reviews, but was sadly disappointed with my experience. The salon itself was clean and had a nice feel to it. I was greeted promptly by my stylist who washed my hair and gave me an AMAZING scalp massage! Then we proceeded to her station and my visit went downhill from there. She kept trying to push their product, Davines (pronounced Dah-​vin-​es), the entire time I was in her chair! By the time she was finished with my cut, my hair was flat, dull, and felt weighed down from all the products she was trying to promote! I’m sad to say that I will have to continue my search for a new salon!

This salon is fantastic!
The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is great! Tiffany, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable. I have fine, curly hair (which can be difficult to deal with) and she knew exactly how to handle it and what products to use. Ashley was my stylist, and she was amazing. She did a fantastic job cutting my hair. (She also gives great scalp massages when she shampoos your hair!)

I just had a cut here yesterday and I’m really happy. The owners greeted me when I walked in. The staff were genuine and really friendly. The cut was great. The whole experience was as good as it could be. I’m all about great service and a great experience and they totally delivered!

Omg! I love this place! Tiffany the owner is extremely well educated and defiantly knows her stuff and ahead of the trends.
All of the stylists there were sooo cute and hip.
Anne was my stylist and she did a wonderful job. As much as I hate to admit it, but my hair is thinning and has defiantly seen it’s glory days pass by. She made me feel so comfortable and cut my hair in a way that helped me appear to have fuller hair. And explained to me the significance of using proper hair products for my hair. Not to mention she was a cutie patootie too ;D
