For a 50 $ yearly membership, joining the Community Career Center gives you access to a big calendar of useful workshops, networking groups and seminars to help you along with your job search. Additionally, you can also make one-on-one appointments with volunteers to help you out with any aspect of your job search from discovering what type of job you want, how to network, help with your resume, how to make your LinkedIn page, etc.
If you want to stop by and see what it’s all about, go to one of the free orientation sessions on Wednesdays or Saturdays.

I have been to quite a few networking events. But this club is by far the most professional and to the bones group that I have been to. The people are a mixed bag of professionals that will welcome anyone that is serious about finding employment. That is why I travel from Mokena and there are members there that are from the boarder of Wisconsin. They sponsor events and have a class on how to navigate Linkedin, how to interview and branding photo shoots. The schedule changes all the time so you have to be on the ball. This place is not easy to get to for some. But if you are truly seroius about finding that perfect job, this is a must stop on your search for success!
