The best! Chipped my front tooth half off– had to find a dentist fast! Only problem is I’m terrified of dentists! So– my colleague recommended Dr. Henley, and I am so glad she did. They got me right in and were able to have my insurance verified by the time I got there. Very soothing people who are very patient with those of us with dental anxiety! They gave me an estimate of cost before we even began, and I was only charged what they quotes me. My teeth look great and it was pain-​free! Beautiful facility with very friendly staff. Dr. Henley explained everything to me and used modern techniques to get the work done right. I have had this procedure before, and no one has done it as thoroughly or with the amount of attention to aesthetic detail. I highly recommend this office!

First of all — the people here ARE good at what they do — my teeth were very clean, no problems/​pain and the building is very high tech and there are lots of fancy instruments and equipment etc. so there is nothing WRONG with the place in that regards.
So by all means if you have like, tons of money lying around go here!
But they DEFINITELY try and scam money out of you — like a lot. Probably to pay for all their fancy equipment.
First of all. They tried to get me to do a CATSCAN for no reason. I have never had any one say I needed one of these (they have a machine there and they probably just wanted to use it). I have seen SPECIALISTS about my jaw problems and had normal XRAYs done plenty of times but no need for a CATSCAN. TRUST ME. When I told the dentist that I couldn’t pay for it he said that IT DIDN’T MATTER BECAUSE THIS WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.
Okay. Personally I think this kind of attitude is EXTREMELY inconsiderate. I mean. I am telling you I don’t have the money to do something that is unnecessary to begin with and you just brush me off and dismiss it? Well. Sorry but I don’t have $ 300 dollars just lying around.
Not only that but my brother went in a few weeks later and he tried to give him a CATSCAN for his WISDOM TEETH which are all the way in already!!! Talk about insanity. (They also tried to charge my brother for a floride treatment (he’s 21) that he never got… but okay I mean.. . people make mistakes…)
Another issue that I have with this dentist is that they told me I had one cavity that needed filling and another tooth had the beginnings of decay. So I made an appointment with another dentists office (since I wasn’t going back there) and he said that he wouldn’t fill that tooth because it wasn’t really a cavity yet. So, maybe it healed or maybe they were just trying to prematurely fill a tooth. I DON’T KNOW.
Also — I really dislike that there are TVs in every room because the dentist and the nurse both looked at the screen sometimes when I would rather them be cleaning my teeth so I can leave… but maybe other people find that soothing.
Finally. I DO NOT appreciate being told that I have yellow teeth (with a look of disgust on his face when he told me!!!) the SECOND that the dentist walks in and that they are crooked. OKAY… I am 23 I think I know my teeth aren’t 100% white and that they are a little crooked. If I wanted something done about that I would have asked you or another dentist a long time ago. First of all, my teeth may be a little crooked but there is nothing wrong with my bite so fixing them would be completely cosmetic. Second of all — I am interested in the HEALTH of my teeth, not what they look like and I would appreciate some kindness when you talk to me about it. I mean stop trying to sell me treatments and be a dentist.
Anyway, I would NEVER go back to this dentist. I have a personal dislike for the dentist — I think that he is a fake and just trying to scam you out of money. I guess I just have this strange desire for my dentist to be respectful and treat me like a human being and not a wallet. Also. I don’t want to feel like I have to make sure my dentist isn’t tricking me into spending more than I have to…
Well — I ended up finding a WAY BETTER dentist in Chicago :)

Great place!!! Clean, and nicely remodeled. I went here because I had a groupon to get my teeth whitened I walked in & was greated by kind friendly staff. The place has a home like feeling and the have tea and water bottles available (very classy). The girl who took me back must have been an assistant she didall her stuff then Dr. Henley came in. Very friendly nice man. He gave the assistant the ok to whiten my teeth. Obviously he doesn’t do such a minor thing his assistant does, still great job& she was very kind and clean. Before Dr. H left the room he gave me his opinoin of what I can doto get an even better smile. Just his personal opinions. I was very interested, he said he can laser back my gums a tad to make my teethlook a little bigger & my smile less gummy. Then he said but get your teeth whitened and then let me know if you want to talk more. Then he left, I didnlt feel pressured or anything it was so great! I left and never spoke to him but I’m pretty sure i’ll be going back there just for the low key non pressure atmosphere! This guy is great!
ps he plays music while he’s working on you… which makes it fell like an episode of Nip/Tuck…but it’s so relaxing!
