The owner Ray is a true professional and really does a great job of explaining the process and then executing on what he says the team can accomplish. The floors looked outstanding at completion and I was seriously contemplating investing in new hardwood for my living room. If you are unsure of whether to get new floors or use this process consult Ray first. I truly believe he’d be honest with me and anyone I know.

This team did a fabulous job finishing the floors for a new home we were moving into with less than 2 weeks notice. They were very flexible in working around our schedule to have the floors finished prior to our move date. In addition, they were very engaging throughout the process. Kudos for the great customer service. We couldn’t have asked for more with the overall service.

After removing a bathroom base cabinet, I had naked hardwood floor that needed staining and coating to match the rest bathroom floor. I called Ray. He was friendly and answered all my questions. Ray was able to send out someone next day. The floor looks great.

I was looking for a way to improve the finish on our hardwood floors without doing a complete re-sand and Buff & Coat was it. They were a little difficult to reach — I consistently got an answering machine and had to leave messages. So I played phone tag a couple of times but they did return my calls. One of the guys came to the house at the time we agreed and walked the floor to look at problems and discuss options, then emailed me a quote. We removed all the furniture except two heavy pieces we couldn’t manage. They moved those the day they came to work. They showed up on time, were pleasant and careful with the work, kept me informed, answered my questions and left detailed instructions for how long we needed to wait until we could move furniture back onto the floors. We did have to keep our dog off the floors for four days. There was an odor. It wasn’t terrible but did make our eyes burn so we decided not to stay in the house the first night. After that we turned on exhaust fans, cracked open a few windows and the odor dissipated. The mess was really minimal; I didn’t notice dust everywhere with this process. The floors look great, not like new, but close enough. We’re happy with the result.
